There weren't much to see why FL's mom and former boyfriend Mr. Yuwen plotted this fresco for her husband & concubine"s family and mom-in-law to be executed. It will probably reveal later as bigger conspiracy, I hope. But one thing I don't understand was that how come Mr. Yuwen agreeds to help FL's mom to do this? She will also be executed along with them. Doesn't Mr. Yuwen still loves her????
Ep 11, finally 'Tsundere' ML is showing some affection towards FL. I saw here and there a little bit feeling in early episodes, but I know now there is definitely his affection there. Therefore he may be thinking about her daughter who needs strong protection in case if anything happens to him in the future. He is checking every corner of FL and he is sure by now how smart, strong and kind person she is . Best candidate as mom for his daughter! Yu lai plays so well as secretive character here.

Completed. The beginning was quite flat and there are many confusing plots, but the later half was very well made. It was almost like 2 different screenwriters 😂 They usually rush the closing episodes, but this was well made to my satisfaction. Too bad some dropped before story got really interesting and some who didn't even complete the drama wrote very harsh/bad reviews. Oh well everyone has different like and don't like, I liked this drama.
Ep6：I was right about FL's mother! She is definitely a seasoned actress who can perform exactly what her character is. And ML and FL, they complement each other. They are equally smart and dynamic. This is an unexpected drama that I didn't know until someone mentioned in comments section of Si Jin page! Thx to the commentator!
Ep 1 ; I watched at Youtube. Pretty good start! FL's mom seems to be scary, but she must has some reasons to do what she did to her daughter. I saw her final expression of her one eye, twitched. Emperor kind of hinted Mr. Z if he likes his daughter, but he doesn't think deeply about it bcoz she is a princess. He still doesn't get what Emperor meant (*O*)
Then Emperor sent out the edict that ML needs to marry FL and Princess F as equal rank (both are legal wife positions) ML refused and kneeled for 4 days asking Emperor to take back edict but nothing changed until FL's sister's ex-husband who was deceived by Princess F showed up with marriage contract given by Princess F. He still had original written contract from Princess F. So Emperor now has good excuse to take back edict he issued by forcing his niece to marry this man. Both couple got married in front of Emperor. Obviously ex-husband's entire family were massacred by Princess F (maybe her mom), so he was willing to marry her for revenge.

I truly hate her character but she is an amazing actress. She made me hate her character so much and I wanted to struggle her with my both hand 😆 She can act well. Hopefully she will have a great leading roll one day! Always pleasure to watch well performed actors and they will make drama more interesting!
I thought so too, she is so cold towards him, but in the beginning of the episode, Xian was holding him as newly born baby in her arm. And she was told that he is a bad fortune for the dynasty, so I believe Xian is just hates him for that for sure. Anyway you will see one scene where Xian shows her true feeling towards YJ.....She said it in her inner thoughts.
