Leo went above and beyond expectations in this episode to bring us such a raw, emotionally scraping, heart breaking, and life like performance. He just brought it all out and dished it to us without any reserve. He truly made the viewer viscerally feel for his character. Completely wrecked me when I watched this episode and took me a few episodes to recover.

The subtleties between the FL v 2nd FL which makes each other shine as better characters is completely lost on insanitysane. I don't understand the need to pit Dilraba v Zhao Lusi, as both are talented actresses in their own way. Fans and anti-fans can be so mentally narrow-minded that it's deeply concerning. Fan culture is like a cult and seriously detrimental to an actor/actress' career, just look at Xiao Zhan (he didn't deserve the negative backlash that erupted because of his excess/obsess fans).

Each to his or her own opinion. The drama and the storyline couldn't possibly appeal to everyone in existence. Picking dramas can be hit and miss because personal preferences are not universal. Sounds like this was a miss for you. The tone you use to justify your personal preference by insinuation that the judgment of everyone who has enjoyed this drama as inferior or tainted by lockdown was toxic and unnecessary. I respect your opinions regarding not liking the drama, but I feel you should choose your words more wisely and respectfully of others.
I personally feel that the FL and ML have excellent chemistry, it might not be hugely demonstrative but the love is in the details of their interactions which are built up to create a realistic foundation for their relationship to last. Their relationship is unconventional and not stereotypical, but it doesn't mean it is less valuable than the 2nd FL and 2nd ML's relationship. Furthermore, this is a drama so of course it's not a documentary and not intended to be highly realistic, inconsistencies in the plot are expected like any other fictional piece. The progression of events and the overall storyline in this drama, in my opinion, is relatively realistically believable and well put together, especially compared to other more cliched drama storylines. I do agree that the FL's strength is somewhat eroded to allow for the ML to save her, especially when compared to the manhua. But I think the drama has done much better in portraying a well-balanced relationship between two strong characters that have to overcome personal tragedies and conflicting loyalties, which the manhua doesn't focus on as much since the romance is more secondary to the overall plot.
