Anything kind soul out there that can translate the convo GeSun had when they were sitting on the tree? Please?
He's sensitively empathetic and sympathetic to a degree that makes him a 'genuine good man'! When Changge finally catches up to him and lets go of her revenge :O They both are able to transcend their emotional turmoil to not create a cycle of rage and hate that just continues to give pain. Coming out of such growth to have more positivity than negativity is not easy and I admire them for having such compassion.
This is the optimum of slow burn at its best. By the end I'm on fire from all their exchanges. Who needs sweet kisses when dying from oxygen deprivation, not me!
I heard lots of upset HaoYan fans cuz of them cutting out some scenes or something. Maybe that’s why?
Hahahahaha no I'm majoring in law, but I love to read a lot and have thought about writing a book in the future, just haven't quite put pen to paper yet :)

Sheer is finally learning to be a man, instead of a petty reflection of his parents. It's true for Sun to have such a grasp on the circumstances and undercurrent going on around him and to properly put the blame on the circumstances instead of on Sheer alone is remarkably mature. No wonder he is perfect for Changge! He doesn't let hate blind him and balances out her impulsiveness, as well he just grounds her by giving her a place to feel like home with him.
Episode 43-44: Why is Mimi stabbing A'Sun? What is the discussion between Sher and Mimi and what does Mimi say…
The amount of acceptance and appreciation they have for each others responsibilities, even though they might be on opposing sides at certain points in the drama, just blows my mind. To have such a well balanced relationship based on such mutual trust and respect is hard to achieve. They do it with absolutely no resentment and the unconditional consideration between them just makes it even better.
It's true everything he says in his pursuit of Changge is just golden! He know exactly what to say and when to say it. Every opportunity to grab hold of her and show her his love is done here! The intimacy of his words and their exchanges is more mentally sexually charged than an actually sweet kiss. Lol the amount of times my heart has stopped probably means I should be clinically dead already

Lol grown up Sheer is both sad because of the loss of innocence but also extremely attractive! The whole mending of bridges between the two is just a big screw you to the Khan and the Khatun! Like even though the Khan killed Sheer's little wolf and gave the pelt to Sun or Khatun manipulations and schemes killed Sun's A'na; these two are finally able to set aside what's been done to them by circumstances beyond their control to have a much more healthy relationships and blossom as brothers. Wish there was more at the ending to tell us what exactly happened to Sheer after he rides away.

EXACTLY! These two have each other in their hearts and minds all the time, that more than anything symbolises their marriage better than a huge ceremony.

haha his man lol XD It's true though. Changge's as a woman is both unconventional and exceptional in that she is unwilling to allow her sex to be the cage that defines and restricts her from acting!

The whole LB team has such great chemistry with each other and the acting abilities of each individual has been pulled off to their maximum capacity. There's pretty much no scene that has been wasted, which is fabulous editing and screenwriting.

Absolutely true! The last scene with Princess Yicheng thanking Changge, but being unable to let go of her dream of reinstitution the Sui Dynasty. The juxtaposition of the two princesses is masterful! Lol I can't stand the bratty prince either, but the scene with Shuyu were he's sad cause he's been fooled and used by the other boy makes me find him a little bit more understandable as to why he keeps trying to be the way he is. He's clinging to the brattiness as a form of innocence is what I feel. He doesn't want to have to acknowledge quite yet that as the crown prince the world is unfortunately not as easy or without someone always trying to scheme and use him. He still wants to believe in the good in everyone and not be suspicious/paranoid. So much of this show has gone above and beyond pervious drama shows! From the healthy relationships to the lack of unreasonable and unrealistic misunderstandings, horrible cliches, etc, the storyline is woven in a believable and emotionally engaging way that leaves me feeling like I will definitely be rewatching this in the future!

Li Shiming really does love and care for her like his own daughter. The relationship between him and Changge is just so intense and fraught with such complexity and conflict. Also he is willing to give her everything he can to ensure her life in Chang'an, but she throws it all away to save A'sun and spend the rest of her life with him The scene of LiShiming speaking with Changge's mother is heart wrenching! He was completely prepared to protect her mother and her for the rest of their lives, but her mother's guilt over her role in the death of her husband led her to reject this. She made him promise to keep Changge safe no matter what. So much emotion here and a really big understanding of not just what it means to be a mother and wife, but also what it means to be a moral woman. ("to be or not to be") Her last words to her uncle were: "Second Uncle!" LiShiming response, "Yes!" *like he almost can't believe it. Changge: "It's true you killed my father. It's true that you are also my second uncle. If there is a day in the future, when you should treat the common people badly, I will for sure come back to you and claim my revenge." She finally acknowledges that he is her uncle and the father-daughter relationship that they have is special and precious. The acting here is just superb! *cried so much here*

Haha I know what you mean. The last 2 episodes felt really rushed and the ending was very obviously cut by a lot. Made my sad that they didn't leave it at 50 episodes and wrap it up all properly. I saw some people were unhappy that we don't have a big marriage ceremony for Gesun, but the heartfelt words that both A'sun and Changge says before her mother's tablet separately just sealed the deal for me. They're bloody married and in a way that is just so typical of them both. Also the scene between Changge and Li Shiming, where she finally lets go of her hatred and revenge to go save A'sun *fainting from over excitement*
