There is a scene where Changge is trying to embroider a fan for Leyan's wedding. A'sun holds up her embroidery circle over her face like what's done during a wedding and asks "When will I be able to also make a fan for you?"
Changge: "Who said I would marry you? Here in Tang, a marriage can only be formed following the three books and six ceremonies, parents agreem- but my parents are already all gone. I don't even know if my mother would like you."
A'sun: "Of course she would. All parents under the heavens would like a son-in-law that loves and cares for their daughter. I swear upon the Sirius star that I will treat you well forever. Forever."
Changge smiles: "Stop talking. It's not that I don't believe you. It's just that I am a bit sad that my mother can't meet you in person. Alright, I won't speak of this anymore. I need to head to the embroidery shop and make sure to find the master embroiderer that SanNian mentioned."
After she leaves, A'sun: "I will go to your mother and propose marriage to you." :)

There is a really important scene where A'sun goes before Changge's mother's tablet and places a marriage proposal letter there, which Changge finds later and then basically with three cups of wine performs the marriage ceremony to her mother's tablet. Love the unconventional marriage and the fact that they don't feel like they need anything big or ceremonial, as all they need is each other.

HAHA the revival of their brotherhood was epic and heartbreaking. Although in the end Yicheng and the Khan stand between them, they somehow made it work.
Love the scene where A'sun refuses to kill Sher, the drinking in prison together, etc. agh so many good scene between these two in the last few episodes

Short translation: Basically, the flashback is General Li asking him if he will help them bring an end to the conflict with Princess Yicheng. A'sun asks that the Tang in return allows him to save Sher. Li Jing agrees. They come up with a plan together that requires A'sun to return to DingXiang. Lol this is the promise and secrets. She's disgruntled that she wasn't included in the plan with Li Jing.

Ah sorry I remember Haodu's father death scene now, here it is:
Haodu runs into the room: "Father! Victory at Ding Xiang. Victory at DingXiang."
Smiling, Haodu's father brings their hands together.
Haodu. "Father rest assured. I will take care of Leyan.
Leyan: "Father, both Haodu and I will be well"
He smiles and dies. :(
Haodu: "Now you can properly rest."

Haodu and Leyan get married in this big ceremony. A'sun and Changge also acknowledge that they are married to each other. Mimi dies, so Mujin is all alone. :(

I don't remember Haodu's father dying on screen. :( He does make Haodu his official heir.

Wedding night conversation:
Haodu: I don't quite believe it. I feel like this is like a dream and am afraid to believe it's real.
Leyan: "From this moment forth, I am your wife, never to be part or be discarded, together even unto death."
Haodu: "Then I also promise-"
Leyan: "On the wedding night, you mustn't say such unlucky words. I believe you."
Haodu: "But, after tonight, I have to leave for Ding Xiang."
Leyan: "You must go. But you must remember to promise me that you take care of yourself, take care/protect Changge, help General Li and take down the rest of the conspirators. My father and I will be waiting for you to return."
Haodu: "Of course, I'll listen to anything you say."

Conversation before the emperor:
Emperor: Haodu, you have done a good service by finding and arresting the conspirators. However you did not go through the proper procedures when ordering the guards. Do you admit your wrong?
Haodu: "I admit my wrong."
Leyan quickly goes to Haodu's side: "Father, the actions of ordering the guards where all my own doing."
Emperor: "Therefore your punishment is to be the princess' husband."
Leyan: "I did not intentionally seek to keep things a secret from father. I did not want to accidentally scare the conspirators into hiding."
Haodu: "Princess, he said princess' husband (FuMa)"
Leyan goes to the emperor's side: "Father.
Emperor: "My Leyan has indeed grown up. Haodu- no. It's Young Master Du. I am handing Leyan into your care. Should you consider my daughter an impediment in the future. I will not blame you, however you must return my daughter back to my side completely unharmed and intact."
Haodu: "Thank you emperor. Your imperial highness, please don't worry, I will definitely take care of princess, not because she is a princess but because she is Leyan."
Emperor: "Alright, send the formal announcement of marriage and be marriage in the coming days."
Haodu: "Thank you emperor."

A'sun: "When you have a dream of her, you should ask her. This place is beautiful free and filled with greenery and water. I think she would like it indeed. Changge, when you went to save me, did you ever think that you would not be coming back?
Changge: "Did you think about your life or dying when trying to save/help me in Chang'an?
They smile at each other!
"Well, I saw the marriage proposal letter you wrote my mom?"
*Heartbeat loudly*
A'sun: "Well, what do you think then?"
Changge: I think- I think that between us there is no need for formal words on paper. As long as I have you in this lifetime, that's enough.
A'sun: "Me to!"

Changge: "Right, how do you know General Li Jing? Did you perhaps keep in contact with him after being brought to Dian Xiang?"

Changge: "I'm not trying to get out of our bargain. Okay fine, tell me."
A'sun: "This second promise is that in the future I never want you to say sorry or thank you to me. Between us there are no need for words like these."

Haha lol it's been a long week of waiting and the final week of classes for me

Leo's mom is his manager and doesn't allow him to have any kiss scenes.

Mimi stabbed A'sun to gain the trust of the Khatun, as Changge is missing. Sher basically covered for Mimi and claimed the poisoned used was his thus by extension claimed he poisoned the Tielebu guy. Mimi says she betrayed Changge based on the orders of the Khatun to poison the Tielebu guy, thus Sher finally knows for sure that his mother is scheming. He asks to be let into the plan on saving Changge, he says he does this cause he wants to know for sure what his mother is doing. Also Mimi is pressured into revealing that Changge is a princess of Tang in 45, the Khatun guard caught by the Tang confirms that he was working for Changge instead of Khatun and suicides, thus jeopardising the alliance and Changge's credibility as the Mobei princess.
A'sun is delivered to Khatun because of a deal between A'sun and the emperor, which allowed him to choose to either to stay in Chang'an with Changge under new identities and cut off all ties with Ashilebu or be handed over to Khatun in return for the Khatun's hostages from the other clans to be handed over to the Tang (I infer this from the terms given by the Khatun, because the emperor never really elaborates what the second choice is.). He refuses the first deal saying something along the lines of 'You are the enemy of Changge, thus I cannot take any favours from you. Furthermore she has already refused this choice once, so I follow her lead.", thus he ends up in the Khatun's hands.
Changge's mother basically says she is guilty of helping Lishiming kill her husband by directly sending a letter to him, but she had to return the favour as he saved her before. She cannot live with herself as the crown prince never mistreated her terribly during there many years of marriage. But she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. She refuses the life that Lishiming wants to give her and Changge, saying she doesn't deserve such rewards/peace.

Lol never have I ever been more angry and frustrated at two parrots!
