Octogenarian and 90s. Pretty interesting. And korean drama Sell your Haunted house.
Was wondering if I should try Octogenarian and 90s. I usually don't like modern dramas though. Have you seen it and do you recommend Fairydustpuppy? Dragnelia?
I was wondering, is Khatun a Masochist or what? Why is she letting herself be tortured just to seek sympathy from…
He is suspiciously attached to the Khutan. Maybe even in love with her in an unhealthy way and is willing to do anything for her. Not sure if you have seen the scene right after he suddenly kills Nu Er. He says a bunch of stuff that just gave me the heebie jeebies and points to an obsession with the Khutan.
someone said this could be the ending I HOPE TO GOD NO.
It's it's another season I won't mind too much as we'll get to see more of Changge and A'sun! Hopefully that also means the manhua will resume and this horrible dispute against the author will end thus giving us even more awesomeness. Although the wait will be it's own unique torture... XD
I'm interested to know, why did you all start watching TLB? and where did you first hear about it?For me, I first…
I remember seeing the trailer first and wanting to watch it. But as the airing date kept being pushed back, I turned to reading the manhua first. Originally I intended to watch the show then read the manhua as I didn't want to be be disappointed in the show if it didn't do the manhua justice. Not disappointed at all yet! Also really glad they distinguished the show so much from the manhua, as it allows me to judge the show based on its merits. Also because it deviates so much, I don't feel the urge to compare the two too much and can enjoy the episodes without being nitpicky about faithfulness to the source material. Hoping they wrap up the show properly.
It is true, there is no helping it - Changge is just gonna bully Sun for the rest of his life and he is gonna…
Lol there’s a video about how basically Changge is the boss in their relationship Here's he link, unfortunately it's not translated: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1bB4y1A7Gy/?spm_id_from=autoNext Too tired to translate right now, been running on only 3 hours of sleep today. I swear my insomnia has to do with bing watching this show and the anxiety from waiting for next Monday XD
I don't think it's watering down. These two needed the time apart to grow and change. There's no requirement for…
It's true that they said Aye'er picked him up from out of no were, so maybe he's a refugee that escaped to the Central Plains. This way they could even conceivable keep his heritage Khitan. You make an interesting point about him possibility being related to Monan, as in the previews the Monan princess does call him 'brother' although this could just be a respectful epitaph and not have anything to do with them being related.

I know how you feel! I really hope they don't bomb the ending and ruin all the momentum developed in these proceeding episodes. A lot of C dramas unfortunately don't do proper justice to the rest of the series and end horribly. Love in Between was such a huge disappointment cause the ending just didn't following through with everything that happened.

I agree! The separation in the manhua was beautifully written and just highlights how couples don't have to be attached at the hip to always be carrying the other within their hearts! I did notice that, but I'm wondering still why they made his hair brown then as that's not usually a hair colour of the central plains people.
Hehehe lolThe crown prince is basically saying that he snuck out in the middle of the night and came to the Drinking…
Lol it's going to be so fun watching the tug a war between the two. The courtship between the two has official begun! In my imagination: Sun adamantly standing before her 'I'm here and I'm not going away. Just try and get rid of me, you'll fail. I love you" With Changge bashfully trying to push him away "What are you doing? You're just suppose to be another one of the boys. I don't understand what this love you're talking about is?"

Ah I understand a bit. I think in this instance, they followed the manhua. Cause in the manhua there separation was for a very extended period of time in which each of the characters and their struggles were much more well written (example is the journey of A'sun to find his birth family, which I suppose is problematic in the show as they don't include a reference to A'sun as being Khitan). The problem with these 6-7 is the scriptwriter didn't put in enough individual personal character developments and struggles while apart, especially on A'sun's side. It's just this journey for them to find each other ends up with all of us sitting on the sidelines pining away lol.
Ep 25. Im so pissed with Changge. I will just watch leyan and hao du’s scene.Im really done... It’s just that…
I don't think there is any need for you to justify her recklessness and foolishness. Your frustration are understandable. Just I think you should give this another chance, there is upcoming character growth and development that might make you stay with the story till the end. I really appreciate Dilraba in her role in this current drama and hope you'll be able to forgive Changge for her faults enough to continue supporting the actress' efforts here. Of course there's no pressure. I understand, sometimes a drama just isn't able to hold my interests either even if I have a favourite actor or actress in the cast.
Yes, say that again for the people in the back. I had to refrain from commenting any negative stuff about Changge…
Feel free to comment! I don't think you should feel like you need to refrain yourself. I think these reactions are coming out of previous comments further down were there was a lot of hating and blaming Changge going around. I personally felt there was a lot of blindness towards Changge's emotional state that I passionate spoke out about, but that doesn't mean that every criticism levelled at her isn't true. I would really like to see/hear what you think if you feel comfortable sharing. This forum should be an exchange of ideas, not a battlefield.
Let the watering down unnecessary episodes begin!! 6 episodes looking for her! SMH, the flow of the drama was…
I don't think it's watering down. These two needed the time apart to grow and change. There's no requirement for them to be together the entire time, people can grow and change apart and then come back together even stronger and better. Just curious but, which episodes are you talking about?
I feel that people in this discussion somewhat get agitated by any comment indicating the faults of their beloved…
The comments on this page have been a see-saw between who's at fault, especially for what happens in ep 25. A lot of people are reacting to differences of opinions and I am delighted to see so many people's insights into the characters. But I agree, everyone should keep in mind that none of these characters are flawless and that is what makes this drama so interesting to watch. I respect the views of everyone on here, even if I don't agree with them.
Changge's Knight 3 giving the attendance here: You have no right to be pissed at her for saving an old man who's…
I agree with your point. Her execution though understandable is frustrating, especially cause it differ from the characterisation of her as being smart and capable of intricate mechanisms by think like 10 steps ahead of everyone else. This is the part that differs a great deal from the manhua. Like I feel the scriptwriter just made her way more reckless than she needed to be so that A'sun could come save her. I really don't like how they wrote this save the general arc. I am not saying Changge is perfect and I completely understand her mental state and trauma; it's just the plot could have chosen to make her rise to the occasion instead of becoming the one in need of saving/protecting (seems like a convenient slight damsels in distress trop). Likewise there are also similar problems with the characterisation of A'sun being so focused on saving Changge that he completely throws away his friends and the Eagles (which is very contrary to the manhua).
I have tried very valiantly to divorce the manhua from the show, but sometimes looking at how the characters come out in this show, it's literally impossible not to see how the show writers smooshed these characters into more convenient plot lines that make their romance more central to the story. So much obvious fan servicing here
