I'm sorry but this looks like a poorly made copy of DOTS but without the cinematography, acting or OST. China…
I haven't checked this drama yet BUT for historical dramas, Chinese drama cinematography is another level already. They are very cinematic with visually stunning and beautiful camera works. Just look at the beautiful cinematography from Love Like The Galaxy, My Journey To You, The Double, Blossom, Kill Me Love Me, Fangs of Fortune, Hard to Find, One and Only, etc. I also love historical dramas OST with sad and beautiful music.
The only thing he could do was invade Yannan and that wasn't going to happen. It's a nomadic tribe/barbarian vs…
Because i never do mistakes for name. It's a basic thing to prevent any misunderstanding. This page is not visited from this drama watchers only. Anyone can access the page even though they don't watch it.
You and I have different perspective about things. For me the accurate name is important that's why I corrected them. Case closed.
It is released only in JAPAN lol China still won't allow BL dramas
No. China still banned BL dramas. Do you know "Justice in the dark" was taken down after it released 8 eps in youku 2023? This time it's Japanese platform that pick up this drama. Not China.
The previous projects like Immortality, Winner is King, Eternal Faith, etc are very struggle to come out. Let alone those "upcoming BLs" that you said.
Hmmm No. I still prefer the chemistry between men and women in romantic series. Romance chemistry between men and women is different with Brotherhood/Bromance chemistry.
However, Justice in the dark adaptation is not true BL. It only shows you the bromance or brotherhood between the leads.
And also iQIYI is the only Chinese OTT that doesn’t change the quality video and still HD.
Everything is HD nowadays. Tencent, Mango, and Youku are also HD. For example Love Like The Galaxy and Blossom (Tencent), The Double and Kill Me Love Me (Youku) are also wide screen FHD with cinematic visuals.
Do you mean the cinematic frame ratio 21:9 ? But Tencent, Youku, and Mango also have many dramas in ultra wide screen 21:9. It's just frame ratio. Everything is still HD. Both 16:9 and 21:9 are HD 😊
Or do you mean 4K resolution? Lol but 720p, 1080p, and 1440p are also Full HD.

Oh I remember one drama that showed minority tribe invaded Han Chinese dynasty. It was The Long Ballad. But still Ashina clan (the tribe) can't defeating Tang Dynasty. In The Long Ballad, Ashina only took over one city from Tang Dynasty. It was also the key scene when ML (Ashina Prince) grabbed the FL (Tang Princess) to follow him into the tribe and made her as their hostage. After that scenes, the Ashina didn't attack Tang anymore and the ending wars were just internal wars between them about leadership + who is the prince who will get the Khan/King position.
The only thing he could do was invade Yannan and that wasn't going to happen. It's a nomadic tribe/barbarian vs…
Yes but I have no problem with that. Because i am also Han Chinese. And I understand why censorship won't allow the minority tribes did such things. It would be a big problem later.

Yes. You are totally 100% right.
There is NO way censorship will allow Beixuan attack Yannan and snatch the land from Han Chinese dynasty.
Except our perspective is from Yannan. And Yannan want to take over Beixuan as their own. Yes. Censorship will have no problem with that scenes and wars. We have seen so many dramas when Han Chinese dynasty snatched the territory from Nomadic Tribe.
is this cheap low budget drama or well made one? and is the stories good? i like the double, rise of ning , etc.
Everlasting Longing is like an A-tier production from Tencent. So it's different with S or S+ production like Love Like The Galaxy and Who Rules The World.
Besides desert and wolves CGI, everything is very okay. The actors and actresses are very decent. The costumes are nice and the sets are good.
Blossom (2024) is also A or maybe A+ tier production of Tencent (If you want more comparison). But Blossom looks more expensive than Everlasting Longing because each production team had different approaches to manage the budget. Especially Zeng Qing Jie as Blossom's director has a very well known skills to maximize the budget they had into great executions and beautiful cinematography. He earned those skills because he did many mini dramas with limited budget before but he still can produce expensive results.
He so deserves that one!!! He is a fake, lied to the Jun family about his identity and never told the FL his true…
If you notice how Qimin reacted when JQL didn't want to become Jun Feifan after she jumped from the cliff...She even forbid Qimin to call her "Shaoye" bcs she didn't want to go back to their old days. Qimin was very denial in that time. I was so worried that Qimin will use her pregnancy + "other situation" as his tool to marry JQL. But fortunately Xuan Lie will come and swap the bride in ep 24.
I can't even guess what will happen to both Qimin and Qingkou after they got married. I don't see Qimin fall for Qingkou yet even though I saw a glimpse of care in their interactions together from New Year Festival in Beixuan.
I love the 2nd couple actually 🤣 even though the princess is so naughty but i think their interaction is so interesting. Especially in ep 15, when there was new year festival, Qimin and Qingkou were so cute together. One is very bright and aggresive + One is very cold and wooden 😂😍

Sadly yes. Jun Qi Luo just treated Qimin as her brother or bestfriend. No romantic feeling. She accepted him as her "groom" because of emergency and other purpose. But Qimin treated this marriage as his advantage to make JQL as his own. So it's all wrong from beginning. That's why i am very happy to see Xuan Lie swap the bride to Qingkou.
You can say that Beixuan Princess had obsession with Qimin. Yes. But i can sense Qimin also had that kind of obsession to JQL. Basically he hates Xuan Lie because he felt that XL snatched JQL from him when actually there is no romance involved between him and JQL in the first place. He can't accept that JQL fell in love to someone else. Back then in Beixuan, Qimin also kept pushing JQL to leave Beixuan + Xuan Lie no matter what. He wanted to go back to the old days. When there was only him and his "Shaoye".

Also, Yunnan is the real name province in China. It is in southwestern part of China. Yunnan and Yannan (fictional kingdom) are different things.
