I remember there is a case when ML had a crush to 2FL. It was like one sided love from childhood/teenager tropes. So basically in earlier eps, ML still has that feeling to 2FL as his first love...until the real FL come. Usually FL will try to get ML first in earlier eps until the middle eps. After that, the FL will give up or even help the ML to get 2FL. But soon after that, the ML will realize that someone he loves now is FL, not 2FL. Both Cdramas and Kdramas have that tropes. But I forget the drama name. Let me remember those dramas again 😂

There is some Cdramas that show 2 FLs fighting over ML. It's not new tropes.

But for ML choose 2nd FL... i don't see anything like that before lol but for another case like FL choose 2ML I have seen some of them from both Cdramas (Lost You Forever Season 2) and Kdramas (Love Alarm).

I prefer to see 2 MLs fighting over one FL rather than 2 FLs fighting over one ML

It boils my blood to see girls fighting for a man. Because my perspective always from FL.

All you said in your primary post was how you disappointed with this drama because it went stray from its original version Novel "Pride and Prejudice" when this drama is not based on P&P novel in the first place. So i was not wrong if i said that you have misunderstanding towards this drama.

"Giving the same vibes" is not equal with "true adaptation". Also the production team never say that this drama was based on adaptation from any original works. You kept thinking this drama was chinese adaptation of P&P novel by Jane Austen. So it's all wrong from beginning.

I will not comment on your post if this drama was really based on P&P novel. But the fact said this drama is not based on any novel or other sources. The production team said this is screen writer original script. So ofc this is different with P&P novel even though they gave the same vibes. You compared things and complained things like this drama was based on P&P. That's why ppl keep commenting on your post. You also can read some ppl explanations above my first comment. They said things similarly.

Also I strongly disagree that you said that 2024 chinese dramas are unwatchable. No. For me 2024 chinese dramas are great and very watchable. For example The Double, Blossom, Kill Me Love Me, Blossoms in Adversity, Flourished Peony, etc.

No! This is not Netflix production. Netflix just distributed this drama internationally. MangoTV is the one who produced the drama. So it's still made by chinese original platform.

I don't think someone who escape from bandits will appear in public all clean and tidy. Also, he should go to see the chinese authorities first before come to his family. Then the police will inform his family or his girlfriend for sure.

Don't blame it to iQiyi. Every drama got different production team. Youku dramas also have many sad endings.

For example iQiyi's drama Story of Kunning Palace, New Life Begins, Destined, and etc got very satisfied perfect happy ending.

MDL users are full of sick paranoid people. I asked something then got bullied for no reason. I didn't even spread hate or something. It happened many times in the airing drama sections. Just because they want to protect their babies, then they saw everyone as enemies. Crazy people in MDL need to get therapy.
