I already said i can watch something with comedy in the previous post. As long as it's not super exaggerated comedy then all is good. But idk why some ppl called it as parody and acted like it's a kind of slapstick comedy.

I don't think so. Many ppl love historical period costume dramas. So it's not about "not having kungfu or immortals" that affected the rating. The reason of 7.7 rating is because some sick ppl/haters who want to take down the rating for new dramas without proper reasons. Usually anti fans did that. They didn't even watch the dramas but rated the shows with poor ratings.

That's why you should not trust MDL rating in early phase. It will be changing very quickly after the real viewers rate the shows properly.

As long as the drama comedy is not super exaggerated, I still can watch the comedy genre.

Maybe this is similar with New Life Begins? Family drama with a lot of natural comedy.

Then it's all good. I still can watch GotD style of unique comedy. So, i guess this drama is like natural romcom family drama.

I saw the trailers and it doesn't look silly. I can tolerate the comedy as long as it's natural. I also love GoTD with their unique comedy because it's not too over. But people comments are different with my expectations. They said it's like parody + misunderstanding and whatsoever.

Watch or not, it's my own business. I also never ask question like "Should I watch it or not?". I just need a confirmation about what people were talking about.

Also, I noticed that sideburns you said often happens to men wigs. For women, especially the hair of front side, they still use the real hair of the actresses. Then they use hair extension to make the hair longer. But if the actresses hair is long enough, they will just style it and add accesories.

Both men and women are beautiful. I love those silky long hair on them.

What do you mean? China also has spicy romance dramas with hot intimate scenes. You should watch more chinese mini/short dramas with hot hot hot kisses and bed scenes.

I saw the trailer and i don't see any nudity there. It's still in the boundaries. This is not a blue film. And China still can airing this kind of intimate scenes.

This is different with Han Chinese hairstyles from other period costume dramas.

In this drama, they wear the TRIBE style wigs with braids and it looks heavier. Ofc it's different wigs + the application is maybe different from others.
