Thank you. You are not crazy. There was. No flash back effect. That and the scene where the older actors flashed back to younger versions of themselves but played by the older actors ruined it for me. It was as if the director wasn’t let in on the twist

The problem is they also flashed back to younger versions of themselves in one scene where they appeared to be in high school or college. That made the twist more of a head scratcher. Plus the two timelines intersected in a grocery store scene earlier in the show No indication that it was a flashback. It made no sense. Poor execution of what could have been a show as good as Triage

What I can’t reconcile is a scene in the grocery store in the middle of the series where the two timelines overlap but with no indication that it had transitioned to a flash back. It was one of the older couple shopping in the same frame as Nack…the older version of the one nack had been crushing. I remember thinking at the time it was the only time the two storylines crossed over

The grocery store scenes totally invalidated the twist unless there’s a Time Machine between the meat Dept and fruits & vegetables.

I agree. I was an advocate of the series up until the final episode, i actually thought the two separate story lines were well done until that final ep.

but I have to admit that final episode ruined it for me. I don’t even think I got the plot twist because there was one grocery scene that put the two story lines in same time frame. So clearly I missed something

And what was was that pseudo rape scene “I attempted to almost violently penetrate you to see if I could see you as more than a friend. But sorry dude. I just couldn’t get it up .
