Being haters is their side hustle. Their real job is fortune tellers so they already know what happens in future…
The thing is, people complain a lot less when a substantial crowd automatically awards a drama a 10 star rating after 1-2 or even 0 episodes at time because more often than not it's positive reinforcement. The general sentiment is always biased in favour of positivity because, of course, generally productions are solid and the dramas are watchable (or we'd have average scored of 5 out of 10).
Don't worry. If it's good enough (like very good) then the mass majority of fair voters will overcome targeted dumb, irrational, petty spite and the drama will have a score of 8.2+ or so. If it ain't good enough then it won't break that sort of threshold.
The VA performance for Liu Shishi is really excellent, and so too is its production. This is the MINIMUM sort of effort which should be put into dubbing. Another great example is for DFQC in Love Between Fairy and Devil. That's how to combine a strong performance from a separate voice actor with careful production.
(Which is why it's so confusing that as dubbing director the Legend of Anle did such a mess of Dilraba in Bai Xinzan's hands.)
Eh. The problem is not with the FL dubbing (isn't she dubbing herself?) it's with the ML dubbing which often doesn't…
I mean not all dubbing is made equal is it? There's often problems with synchronisation, but at least the energy fits the character and the physical effort even if the time sync is sometimes off. But in this case with Xu Kai, there are multiple issues with synchronisation AND energy+affect. Xu Kai does not move his face much when emoting, and the VA is rather energetic. I think they could have matched up a VA much better to the style of Xu Kai's performance. But yes, this is not the only drama with OOF dubbing for a character. Another example is the FL from Ultimate Note. An example of an outstanding dub which fits and is also almost always in time is for the ML (Dylan Wang) in Love Between Fairy and Devil.
I think Xu Kai is an actor where the casting for his VA needs to be carefully considered. For example, it works really great in Falling Into Your Smile, and the role also suited Xu Kai super well. Just my opinion though.
BTW, funnily enough, that voice actor for Xu Kai in FIYSmile is the VA for Chen Zhe Yuan in Sword and Fairy 4. His performance is energetic in that role - point being that it's important the VA also adapts to the energy of the actor and not just the character.
How can someone judge by watching few episodes maybe she will become stronger and better in upcoming episodesš
Seems your issue is more to do with characterisation and not acting? You also talk as if an FL can't be a villain or an anti hero (though it's doubtful she'll be either). This is a myopic view of roles, though. Formulaic and zealously generic thinking, no?
FL is doing great. Her character is fantastic and so is her presence for me. But Iām not feeling the wooden…
Oh I see so it's about looks. SFL is pretty but boring - zero flair. Suits as SFL but can't imagine her as the FL, at least not with the presence and character she's given in this drama. Looks is one thing but charisma is another. Also I'm guessing you're just referring to this type of drama. I mean nobody is going to watch Breaking Bad and complain that Bryan Cranston doesn't "look" like a lead, the point being he carries an outstanding performance through his flair, charisma, strong presence, acting talent.
I'm on ep. 5 and it's good so far, even though the ML is dumb as a rock.
LOL yeh pretty dumb, but mainly because he's lived such a sheltered life. Compared to the equivalent heroes in 1 and 3 he's positively mature and balanced, amazingly. I wonder what other sticky situations he'll get his friends into due to his simple naivety.
When there is nothing to complain about a drama then just say " Aw i donāt like the females voice dubbing. Itās…
Eh. The problem is not with the FL dubbing (isn't she dubbing herself?) it's with the ML dubbing which often doesn't match the energy and physicality of Xu Kai's emoting. It is disconnected.
Yep Choi Ran is pretty much a genius. Black is brilliantly put together - shame there are differences with her original intent and production decisions for its ending. Mouse is a great drama, absolutely thrilling.
The fact that the writer was a female and she made this amazing show. GOOD. Give me more stuff like this. Bravo…
There are so many female screenwriters, no? Especially when it comes to Kdrama and Cdrama. Women are constantly writing amazing scripts, so I'm curious about your comment.

Also, Ruyi wasn't really trying to kill, but to defend herself, otherwise maybe she could've won anyway.
She Stronk. Bery Stronk.

If the main criticism is "she look more of villain and evil person" then the main point of contention here is the script writing. I'm happy to not see all the same boring clichƩs from leads (AJTLove is perhaps another example). But then again, none of this is ground breaking or unusual, is it. There are lots of dramas with shady leads. That's a common enough route in storytelling, writers showing their imagination and all that.
