Over 18 based on some comments I already can't remember from within the first 10 episodes. Both leads are young, as it's only 8 years since the flashbacks of the ML (with the Emperor).

It's a miracle Wen Ji and Lu Ji lasted as long as they did. Frankly, I wish this drama had taken more risks, not less.

Enjoyed the ending of this one.

They should have filmed seasons 2 and 3 in the same block and be done with it.

Are the plots of this drama well structured or cleverly intertwined? No.

Is the drama even more unbelievable than say... Story of Yanxi Palace? Yes.

But is it a lot of fun, though? Yes.

(Bonus: Are the main couple straight fire? Yes.)

True I feel the same way. It is very addictive to watch it reminds me of Story of Yanxi Palace in that sense, which has the same FL. There's a lot about this show I find mediocre tbh and it bewilders me how generic and uninspired most of the soundtrack is but it has compelling characters, great pacing and a super intriguing premise and story.

Incredible acting. Great peaks, many memorable and immense scenes. Inconsistent and wayward writing and pacing.

The show peaked from episodes 6-10 (of the 21).

Episodes 6 and 7 are double S-tier my only complaint is song choice during kiss end of ep 7 (hate this habit of soppy nonsense in K and C dramas) other than that absolute GOLD.

Haven't watched this yet but trying to finish Marry My Husband and I almost can't believe how severely that show has tanked itself into hapless oblivion.

Turning into one of the best shows ever no questions asked.

It's on Viki. It's in very low quality with ruined aspect ratio on kisskh. It's in high quality on Youtube but with Chinese subs. It's also on Youtube with a hilarious English dub which is funny for novelty but otherwise not recommended.

Episode 1 was every bit as godlike or more so than ep.1 of The Last of Us. Heck what a play.

For me this was way too short.

Dylan was the standout player in the NBA All-Star Celebrity game given who he is. Micah Parsons is one of the best players in the NFL and if it wasn't for CJ Stroud (who was playing on the other team), Puka Nacua would have been rookie of the year. They're top athletes.

What year is the setting for this?

Also, Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is airing right now and hot dayum. It's a dream for any lover of romance.

You might like Knight Flower which is currently airing. Sageuk noona romance with also some secondary romances.

Last third of The King's Avatar is very unsatisfying and the quirk at the end, even though explained in episode 1 as a possibility, was beyond lame. Also the whole phase where the team fell apart just because they lost 1 game or whatever it was... as someone who follows a lot of esports, it was incredibly cringe writing.
