🥹 so sad that this drama has come to an end so quickly. But I’m so very grateful that the drama exceeded my imagination of FC, FQW, HP, HFX and BFX. I never noticed him before but he gained my complete respect for his performance in this drama. His character had so much depth all throughout . He was completely committed to his role…not simply proud but his eye were tearing up. 👏 👏 👏
Heheh my imagination is running wild from the beautiful scenes the drama has given us glimpses of…as all good novels/shows should do…get us giddy with excitement and make our imagination run wild In my mind there are scenes of each of her generals fighting…showing their own mastery and dominance of the scene and their own weapon. Her back to back fighting with one or more of her general to expend the battle til reinforcements comes. Them weaving in and out trying to keep their soldiers lost low given the oppressing opponent. Someone coming in and out of the turtle shield formation to deliver some deadly attacks. More head on fight with generals vs generals with soldier battles all around. Bloody dreams!
From me last 2 days of eps deserved 10 eps each….gahhhh I don’t want this to end. The battle formation scenes made me think of the Red Hill.. no other movie/drama has been able to come up to that standard. But if they had focused less on politics and added more eps…this novel/drama had the foundation to show us more scenes like the Red Hill/Phoenix formation. How epic this would have been

Don’t go bashing me and my opinions! This is a credit to XZ…I think he would do great justice to the ML role who is tall and very handsome…who shoulders so much weight from a young age but still maintains an alluring smile for all. Someone who is so caring but has no one by his side. He is so shameless with FL and with her support/company his alluring smile isn’t just for show but for himself as well.

FL is cute, naive, and willful in the beginning….like her in “Oh my Emperor’” and LBTI”
Then she comes to realize that she needs to be more mature and focus...like her in “The Long Ballad” ps a complete crybaby who surprising is more mature than most
And when ML encounters injustice and sadness…he barely shows it but she can sense it and is there to cheer him up or just keep him company…like her in “Who Rules the World”
Yup 👍 Lusi would completely bring this character to vivid life in the most endearing way.
Given the recent rumor…I spent all of this weekend reading “Hidden Love” Overall the story is simple and sweet. A very pleasant read. There isn’t much craziness, unnecessary jealousy and unreasonable characters. This felt to me more slice of life and coming of age romance drama. The way that the couple deals with their past, hurdles in life, their feelings and insecurities is modelist.
But without a really good cast to deliver not just the cutest and sweetness but the deep meanings of the story then the drama would fall flat.
Life delivers subtle but cutting social injustice, personal insecurities, family objects/obligation, past burdens and so much uncertainty.
In summary…the novel has the potential to be a great drama but it will a very hard task. I’m excited to see it and hope that the wonderful themes presented in the novel can be shared to more and more.
Ahhhhh today’s eps is wrecking me…so much emotions with so little time to process it all…my mind and feelings are all jumbled… Sweetness…nervousness…sorrow…agony…sweetness…then wow 🤩…n more wow…but now I cannot help but smile and still feel a conflicted sense of sorrow that there is only 4 eps left……… 🥺
