i don't really get if your emoji means you're annoyed at the patriarchy or at the storyline but i agree that there's this theme in the drama and i also found it quite interesting that in the nine heavens realm there are only men in important positions. the only woman around was ling'er and the tree-spirit-maid but all those immortal disciples who fought alongside BJS were men

agreed, the script had some really interesting philosophical points that I found quite deep for Xianxia! Really interesting storyline, two gods learning about mortality and what it means to be human

he was trying to provoke her to show that he's looking for a new wife since she's just out and about saving mortals, but she knows him too well and was unbothered

i definitely would, why else have all this magical powers if not to help people lol

it doesn't make sense lol but i just tell myself that she was pretending even when alone bc she knew that BJS was basically tuned in to her and knew about her every movement. so she was like playing it safe in case he was lurking. there were many moments when she would trip or sth, and he would notice immediately even though he was far away so that's how i tried to make sense of it lol

as in so many Xianxia's, the divine beings are pretty heartless and don't care about mortals. I love that HRY is a revolutionary lol

exactly, HRY was just completely unbothered and seemed to find it pretty amusing instead of being pissed off bc she knows about BJS feelings. And it's funny when you remember that she made him jealous with SML in the dungeon when she was still pretending to be LQY, BJS even said to her "you know how to push my buttons". Even though he tried to make her jealous it doesn't really work bc she knows him and his feelings, but the other way round it's different bc she seems much more open to part ways with him if he has different values than her.

SFL directed him to go that way so he would meet that random guy who gave him all his cultivation, that immortal has a grudge against BJS so he's most definitely team HRY andas soon as he hard that SML regarded BJS as an enemy, he decided to help him. It will surely be revealed later why how he's connected to HRY.

have you watched the latest episodes, 11 and 12? bc there was some info regarding her having a child

The one thing that is confusing is that BJS doesn't know why HRY hates him and keeps asking her why - so what could've happened that only HRY remembers but not him? If it was about a child dying or being taken away from HRY, how come he doesn't know why she hates him? so one thing that could make sense is that she had a child in secret, BJS doesn't even know, and some third person did something to the child without his knowledge and told HRY that BJS did it. My guess would be that HRY was told that BJS fooled her and wanted to absorb the power from their child to become more powerful than her, so that's why she hates him so much. But then if their child is still alive, I'm also wondering if the little boy on the boat that picked up the 2ML is maybe their child, since they didn't explain who that boy was. I would actually prefer it if the little demon-boy who was always hiding in the closet was their child but both of them don't know. but idk why their child would be a demon lol so that part is prob far fetched

Ep 11 was AMAZING. Now the story has really started!! My theory below:

i was thinking, what if the child is alive and save, hidden away by BJS and HRY doesn't know. What if that little boy who was on the boat that picked up zhang suan is their child? I found it a bit random that a little boy was there on the boat

I scrolled and found it! I think it would make sense but whatever happened must be something really bad for the FL to hate him so much. He asked her in one of the episodes "why do you hate me so much?" that means he doesn't know why she is hateful, and all his friends also see her as a villain, so whatever she believes he did, he is unaware and so are his friends. If the reason was the death of their child he would know why she hates him...unless he forgot what happened in the mortal realm and no one else knows but her and so when she acts revengeful everyone thinks she's just a villain....
And also they mentioned it was 3 lifetimes of a feud, so she stabbed him/harmed him twice. So yeah, the theory we came up with is still not adding up completely hehe

They're yin and yang so they are their opposites and I think it was briefly mentioned that they are supposed to be enemies. So they ended up falling in love, but bc of their "enemy-energy" they also always feel suspicious of the other, maybe subconsciously. When they go to the love tribulation part (seen in preview) maybe it's to destroy the hate in their opposite energies and develop pure love. But then something happens when they have a child - maybe bc of the opposite energies, the child would become a harm to the FL and that's why ML decided to save her instead of the child? And then she misinterprets it as him stabbing her in the back and the feud begins...

Here's my thoughts/theory on why they have this feud:

bc it's a drama it has to be very dramatic...

in love between demon and fairy they descended to the mortal realm and lived for some time as mortals too, that's like a different life too and then later on she was reborn too and had "no memories" of him too

a xianxia drama without past lives or multiple lives? LOL that's like asking for a forest without trees
