I haven't read the novel so my expectations are tempered. And I don't even mind lack of spice or kiss scenes in romance drama, provided they show enough intimacy and physical chemistry. Sometimes even touch hands, almost touching, hugs or even eye contact can be shot sensually and beautifully. Even that would have been fine for me . Well hope it gets better later. Dubious consent is very difficult to pull off visually, that's for sure. It can quickly go into the creepy territory which is what happened here for me.

That is the height of scheming and plotting behind his back. Of course he will be wary and suspicious after the stunt she pulled in Boya. Yes, it was like he was forcing the moment to be sensual with the focus on his wounds (ahem ahem) and FL's unconvincing reaction to his perceived position in the bath...but it just felt forced and even rapey in the beginning. Like the MCs were too awkward and uncomfortable for it to be sensual. Made me uncomfortable as well lol.
LYN looks majestic in the white outfit and the black cloak. My favourite of many beautiful outfits of his in the drama. Ep 10....was a trial. I didn't like the scene in the drama that everyone really liked in the novel (you know which one). The camera language and overall direction is so....uncommunicative and muddled in that scene. Aphrodisiac scenes are dime a dozen in cdramas and have been executed much better in some of the other dramas I've watched. At least it's over now huhu. Also the mother in law character is so cute with chubby cheeks but such a convincing dumb malicious character, I enjoy it everytime she is on screen because I know she will get her karma instantly, instant gratification lol

I couldn't stand the FL and being told over and over that she is badly behaved with little to no proof of the same (classic case of telling rather than showing in storytelling) I have watched TDOS and Blossom and enjoyed both. I will check out the rest and see how they are, thank you!
