We're all adults who've seen more than one c-drama in this genre so we should be going into this knowing it's going to be what it sets out to be, a trope filled, fluff romance with a predictable but enjoyable plotline. I don't know what everyone is expecting but this is a middle of the road rom-com that is exactly what it sounds like it's going to be. Don't expect some artistic masterpiece, this is an enjoyable 24 episode worth of mindless entertainment and nothing more.
I just wish the finale had been a bit better, the obsessive princess 4 episode storyline was a real WTF that interrupted the flow and didn't make a lot of sense in my book, but overall it still was a good couple hours of entertainment.
If the two most helpful reviews put you off, please give this drama another try! I promise that yeah it has a moment or two that made me want to drop it, but it really picks back up again and has some great scenes. One of the things I love most about this drama is that the two in love characters actually act like married people who are madly in love with each other. Yes they have some petty jealousy and some misunderstandings, but at the core of it there are two very passionately in love people who aren't shy to share that expression of love with each other. There's a few risque scenes too (at least by chinese standards) that made me smile and blush. Totally worth watching in my book!
I heard Na Chul who just unexpectedly passed away plays a support role in this movie, but he's not listed. If anyone wants to update the listing, he plays a character named Min Sung in the movie. He had already completed filming his part before his passing.
Yin Jun's role in A Camellia Romance as one of the 4 handsome guys, I can't believe it took me several episodes to finally figure out who he was, I first saw him play a support role as Xiao Su in The General's Lady. I knew his face looked familiar but MDL's picture of him has his hair styled very modern and I've only seen him in historical dramas where his hair is pulled back from his forehead. I think it really changes his appearance to have bangs or pulled back hair.
Probably the new drama Miss Chun is a Litigator, its set in the Tang dynasty.
aahh, that makes sense timewise. I wish they'd release more information about that one though, all they had was the crew shots and a painting for the poster
What is he filming at the moment? Pictures from the set yesterday show him in a fantasy costume...https://twitter.com/HuangJunjie0907/status/1587026122986094592

So many support roles or main lower-quality dramas... He should be the main role, always. And better dramas. He's…
The problem is he's been inconsistent with his acting, sometimes he's really good and other times he seems to just call it in. I'm looking forward to his next project, hopefully he does a great job once more.
So the ML is the actual missing grandson and FL looks exactly like his dead sister? That makes their romantic…
I remember that vaguely, about the situation being complicated. I still think it was bs to bring her in and make her leave her life behind. I really hated the ML for emotionally blackmailing her for the first few episodes. He was brutal and abusive too (he choked her more then once!), but then suddenly they were in love and all is forgiven? Now suddenly in ep 14 she's back in her original life but emotionally she's really messed up. This drama is a mess and a half. lol, but I'm sucked in already just have to wait for the next 10 ep to be subtitled. I still think its weird that he fell in love with her, but that's cdrama logic for you! lol
Episode 11 spoiler and questions I'll put under the tag
So the ML is the actual missing grandson and FL looks exactly like his dead sister? That makes their romantic storyline even weirder than it already has been. Also if he's the blood relative, why did he need to force FL to get involved in this? Wouldn't he inherit things if he just revealed his identity
