I finished episode 4 and think I'll drop it there. ML is obsessively possessive and controlling even before any romantic connection is established. I wouldn't want him as a friend let alone a partner for life. SML is pathetically and relentlessly pursuing FL despite her repeatedly telling him they are just friends and will never be anything more. Neither of the men in this drama respect boundaries.
The bandage changing scene was soooo spicy, had to fan myself! I really enjoyed this one, can't believe how much they packed into such a short time frame. Totally worth every minute. I've rewatched it multiple times.
Thanks for the info, for some reason or another I've been putting this drama on hold until all episodes are watching.…
That would narrow down the hours you're available and you definitely would have to be more picky on what shows you want to invest your time in. I have a lot of free time, so I sometimes end up giving more of it to shows that I should have dropped.
The problem is he's been inconsistent with his acting, sometimes he's really good and other times he seems to…
Yeah that was unfortunate and then of course the whole entertainment business basically had a major slowdown/hiatus for the pandemic so a lot less was produced.

I'm the same to a certain degree as I've found some dramas that just got slammed to be not that bad after all and kind of entertaining...but some dramas if the overall consensus is a No, then I look into Why specifically and maybe even watch one or two episodes to decide for myself. This one was so cute to start with and then idk wtf happened, so I thought I better come and save everyone else, cause if you watch the first episode or two you might end up hooked and then have to either drop it or suffer a migraine trying to unravel wtf is going on.
I agree with you. I see SK makes more and more dramas that are less than 16 episodes, and it seems like the stories…
The only downside is that occasionally they have a lot more story and not enough episodes left to tell it, but for the most part it really trims out the stuff that has taken really good dramas and doomed them. Sixteen episodes and longer ones can meander all over the place and forget what story they were trying to tell originally, I've seen some 8 that were too short, 10 is ok but for me 12 seems to hit the sweet spot most often. Gives enough time to develop the characters and the story without becoming crushed by time slot filler.
I love when the writer gives little nods to other popular works, it just tickles my funny bone, especially if it's done in a way that makes sense in the overall story. I really liked this drama and I'm going to rewatch it again soon. I like that it was a tighter format show with only 12 episodes, so we didn't have scenes that are just stretched and misunderstandings pulled out and overused to fill up air time. The shorter length forces a drama to keep the story under control and I especially enjoyed it for a fusion sageuk. As much as I loved Mr Queen it's extremely long length (20 ep of 75 minutes each) makes rewatching a serious time commitment.

I ended up finishing watching it just so I could see if it made a turn around but it progressively got worse and worse. In general I am a very forgiving audience, but even I just could not handle all the bizarre off the rail decisions the writers came up with. They took something that was funny and interesting and just destroyed it by trying to make the drama cover every single genre or something. I feel like it was one of those that had one writer per 3-5 episodes and no one talked about the script before they passed it to a new writer for the next grouping of episodes.
Time to rewatch this gem, I love coming back to ones just after I get to the point where I've forgotten enough of it to almost have it be new again! :D
0/10 do NOT recommend. I spite-watched it until the end just so I could write this and save others from losing 30 episodes worth of their lives. It starts off great and then freaking goes off the tracks into a corn field and detonates all over itselfs, so don't let that sucker you into watching!
Just finished this and I have to say, it had a heck of a rocky start...I didn't care for the acting of the ML in the first few episodes, but he really did grow on me. They kept the Fang Yao character around in the background for waaaaay longer than the viewers wanted and then when they brought her back front and center she ended up taking up too much screen time, BUT even with all that, the drama was really funny, highly entertaining, and I really liked it!
Watching this on Dramacool - been waiting for English captions on episodes 18-23 for a few days - since Viki has…
Final episode uploaded today with english subs on dramacool. DC doesn't provide the captions, they have to wait until its released elsewhere and then it can be mirrored on their site.
No. It was a more modern drama done in the last 5 years, honestly I'm not a hundred percent sure its a C drama, it might have been a Kdrama, I watched hundreds of them over the last few years. :/
