I've seen this on youtube now in movie length form, all episodes stitched together, if you search for it by name and add Full Version it should come up
I found a bunch of mismatched clips on youtube that are subbed but wasn't able to find it put together in a coherent manner that you could follow the story from start to finish.
For real! I just watched one that had the overbearing abusive ceo who put his hand on FL's neck and squeezed at least two different time specifically in order to make her fearful and compliant....that's not sexy, that's abusive. Later of course none of that is mentioned and they fall for each other...blah blah blah. No regrets of that behavior, no apology, never mentioned again....grrrr!
Well I’ve seen it a few with Korean celebrities getting married while being pregnant and I didn’t see any…
Frequently the pregnancy is the deciding factor on wanting to register the marriage for legal reasons to do with the child, rather than it being a religious or love thing. They marry for love of course too, but sometimes they may date for years even live together but not get married until a child occurs. They want to protect the rights of the child I think.
Victor Qin is close in age to Jacki Li so is this going to be a romantic drama in addition to comedy, scifi, fantasy? Is Victor or Jacki going to be the alien? I'm super curious and can't wait to find out more!
I was kind of surprised by Li HongYi's substandard performance, but I think it had to do with him filming a LOT…
Thank you! Now I don't feel as foolish, at least I'm not the only one who made the mistake. I think it's made even more difficult by the specific hair styles being chosen to give them even more of the same contours and face shape. When they have modern hairstyle and are going about meeting and greeting fans ect, they have a much more distinct difference between them. I mean even their height is quite different if they are standing side by side!

So I'm an idiot, I actually mixed up two different actors, I was thinking of Cheng Yi who is amazing...LHY is ok too but Cheng Yi is next level awesome.
What I dislike is the ML that does the assault behavior, later he matures and cares for FL but he in most dramas never ever apologized or even reflects on his bad behavior. There's actual one very heartbreaking drama that the ML has an emotional breakdown when he confronts his own previous words and actions and realizes how awful and callous he had been. He didn't even physically assault her (like in a lot of dramas) but he treated her horribly, and he was broken by confronting his own actions. Its super rare to see a ML admit and try to make amends for previous behaviours. I wish it was less rare.
Surprisingly nice drama, I enjoyed it most of the time, but it would be a bit better if it was a bit shorter :D…
I was kind of surprised by Li HongYi's substandard performance, but I think it had to do with him filming a LOT of back to back to back series all one after another. I think he thought he could take it easy on this one and that it didn't require a lot for him compared to the others he's been doing. It's also possible he's not a comedic type actor, because you ask him to fight realistically, cry bitterly, or spit out gallons of blood over 60 episodes and he can BRING it to the table like nobody's business. So you know he has the acting ability, he just didn't bring his A game to this drama and sadly it showed.
I love Jackie Li, she has a normal face that is just made more adorable and cute by her bubbling character and her ability to really sell that comedy! Her body type is probably what you'd find in most locations, she's not the "ideal" (that literally only 1% of people can achieves)...she's the reality that you'd probably see in the grocery store, if that makes any sense? In conclusion, I find her super cute rather than "stunning" and I would adore it if more c-dramas hired actresses like her!
I've gone back to a few choice ones from Cdramas around 2015, any older and its hit and miss on finding good ones that have english subs. I'll find a synopsis of a drama with a great rating and want to watch it only to find that it's not on any streaming sites or it is and it's only available in its original language. :( With Kdramas I have been able to occasionally watch a few good ones from the 2000s, but the style of humor was really painful, lot of slapping, lot of normalized beatings of children, nonconsensual kissing and dragging women around by the wrist just to scream at them privately that was romanticized ect. It got better by the 2010s and I'd say 2014 they really just toned it down to only happening once in a great while. The best years for released and subbed Kdramas for me have been 2016-2018, the humor was on point, the dramatic ones were highly produced and well written, just perfection! There's been a few gems since then but there's also been a LOT of content that was just fodder to fill space in the time slots.
I think we all fell into that somehow around the same time? I think I might have started watching Cdramas in 2018, and moved into Kdramas into 2020, and then in 2021-22 I rewatched a lot of both, and now I'm leaning into Cdramas for 2023...lol. I can not remember how many of them both I've watched but I say it's probably a really unhealthy amount of hours 😂
I keep thinking of different dramas and then be like no that wasn't it...like I have a huge list of dramas in my head that I enjoyed that are also historical but they aren't the right sub topic of switched brides, at this rate they're all becoming a big melting blur in my memory.
I've heard of perfect couple that's not it, and I've seen General's lady, loved that one. No this particular one had two ladies who met at a temple and literally got in the wrong carriages, I think one was a noble and one was an average woman...but I could be confusing that with Truth or Dare or Fake Princess, there have been a few different bride switch historical dramas over the last few years. I'll probably figure it out in 6 months lol
