This scene from what I remember is different in the novel. She's recalling a bunch of stuff to CX and calls him out. Then due to his pride, he admits that he had something to do with Jing's death and she loses her shit and knocks everything over. Then there's a shooting arrows at him scene her trying to commit suicided due to the pain of the betrayal etc. I think I posted an excerpt of it in the "Xuan and the one that got away. Spoilers!" discussion thread with the chapter number if you want to read it for yourself.

We can agree to disagree. I don't think he's in love with CX. And based on the reasons given for wanting to marry XY and some things I remember reading in the novel, I personally think he is. But that's okay if you don't we all interpret things differently :D

Tbh, I've been super confused as to why people are acting like they'd be dating any of them in real life 🤣🤣 To date Jing, you'd have to be okay with being labeled a homewrecker and a side chick cause he is engaged. He also would not trust you since he'd have people following you etc. As for XL and CX, both of them are physically and emotionally abusive. And FengLong is very superficial. He only likes XY because of her looks and status. But looks fade and status sometimes does as well so no smart woman would build a relationship on that type of foundation. Tbh, they all suck. That's what is great about fiction though is that you can pretend/overlook things you would not/should not tolerate in real life.
Sidenote, this doesn't mean I don't like their characters/don't see the good traits all of them possess, or don't wish XY could enjoy a full harem because again, this is fiction. It's just irl, who would really tolerate any of this stuff? I'm sure some women would but most would not.
TSJ's mom and grandma. They started everything. TSJ's mom was very biased towards huo ruining him and Jing's relationship. Ik that's not her son but how can she not see that her actions would harm her child in the future? Same with the grandmother.

It's because CX is already aware that even if there are feelings, because of XY's loyalty to him, XL and XY will never happen. Whereas Jing isn't on an opposing team and doesn't actively try to push XY away so XY can be more outwardly affectionate to him.
As for the whole Jing and XL thing, what can Jing really do? He can't stop XY from hanging out with XL as they are not even engaged and he is now a married man. He also can't block the connection that they have. All he can really do is remind her of the promise they made and hope for the best. If he did anything else, he'd end up being like CX. This is just my opinion though.
