I've seen so many people claim that she either likes Xiang Liu the most or Jing the most but the only way to come…
I mean, as king they are the last thing standing in his way/his goal of "uniting" the realm. So it makes sense he wants to get rid of them. Plus, XY's grandfather, dad, and CX all try to convince XL to give up and come to their side. So I'm not going to be too upset if she doesn't do anything because what can she really do if XL is dead set on remaining loyal to his adoptive father and CX is dead set on his ultimate goal of unification?

Ik but XY knew that was going to happen from the start because XL is her families enemy. She didn't expect the same, well not the same but still, thing to happen to Jing cause he's not her families enemy.
While two fandoms are fighting over the ship, I do think XY loved two men ( Jing and XL ) equally in her own way,…
I agree with this except for the CX not knowing part. He figures it out towards the end but by then it doesn't really matter because XY couldn't be with him anyways.
I like Jing. Now I'm reading the novel. already at chapter 24. I love Jing more in novel version. The story and…
I've seen so many people claim that she either likes Xiang Liu the most or Jing the most but the only way to come to that conclusion, a conclusion where is loves one more than the other, is by cherry-picking.
Jing is not a second option and neither is Xiang. The novel in many instances very clearly shows that XY loves both of them a lot. They both take up space in her heart. That's why with both of their deaths, she was extremely sad.
What sent XY over the edge with Jing's death though was not him dying but the fact that CX had something to do with it.
CX is XY's most important person. For him, she'd be willing to do anything give up anything and in that moment she discovered that he would not do the same for her. That he could really kill someone she loves deeply and dearly despite knowing how it would hurt her.
As for the whole, "a woman can only love one person thing" that some people have commented in this comment thread, that's not true. Everyone woman isn't the same. Some women are monogamous with their hearts, others are not. Every woman and man is not the same whether in fiction or in real life. Our life circumstances help shape the kind of person we turn out to be and our beliefs etc.
How do you have a character just ignore a family member being ruthless to him? Humiliatng him before a town folk?…
TSJ is kind and not being evil towards his brother because he’s seen the vicious cycle that it leads to. They will probably address this in s2. The novel addresses this as well.
Side note, some of you responding to this commenter are extremely rude. English isn’t everyone’s first language so being weirdly condescending to them just because you don’t understand what they wrote or were trying to say isn’t okay.
I see so many video clips from S-2 part of the drama even showing the end of the story. What is going on? Is it…
I think originally they were planning on showing season 2 right after or shortly after season 1 so when they made trailers for the show, there was no need to cut out season 2 scenes from the trailers. Now with the new regulations everything is up in the air.
I really need s2 to come quickly so I can see XY and Xuan's showdown. I also need TH to keep the majority of the conversation they had or the essence of it at least cause it was soo good! Especially the "you didn't do it gege!" part. I need to see Yang Zi and Zhang Wan Yi act this part out. I'm also excited to see more of yaoxuan.
Sidenote: Please don't comment some nonsense in response to me about how yaoxuan isn't a thing cause I don't care. Thanks 😘
Does XY kill herself? I read a review saying that she killed herself. Why did she do it?
Yes. CX and their grandfather’s betrayal cut her deep as they are her most important people. She couldn’t live/accept the betrayal. In the novel, she describes it as being more painful than anything she’d ever experienced thus far.
I heard he says to "kill them all" apparently in some scene. It's one of his lines. I think it was in a bts I saw on twitter. I need to know who he says that to.
There will be a second season? They have announced it?
Yes, there is going to be a second season. There is a lot that still hasn't been covered. It's already finished filming. We just don't know for sure when it will air because of the new regulations.
