Yes the Empress Dowager started all the issue but in the end Princess Ruojia will end up being the villain. Being a villain does not necessarily mean that none of your actions are justified or that viewers won't be able to sympathize with you. I still like her despite how she's going to end up.

Basically she plots to be able to steal the throne from her brother and her almost succeeds too. In the end, the main couple get married and she still gets to be an official according to the last chapters of the novel that I read.

My reasoning is the following: 1. Her family is scary 2. I feel like our relationship would have too many ups and downs as she's a princess and I'd most likely be a commoner lmao 3. CX, XL, and Jing probably wouldn't give me a chance to even get close to her like that LOL 4. I feel like she'd be a fun friend to have and to be able to be yourself with once you get her to open up a bit 5. That meme of CX eating popcorn would be me cause I'd be enjoying the "show" from the sidelines tbh
