CX was initially okay with XY being engaged to FL because she did not have any feelings for him unlike with Jing. So he didn't feel like there was any threat. Plus, he couldn't take her for himself atp because he needed her sorta to get Jing and FL's help. Now that he's King, he has enough power to do what he wants so he doesn't need/want to push her to other men. Also, in the novel at least, FL and FL's sister XY, kind of tricked/forced XY into agreeing to go ahead with the marriage in a sneaky way.

Sorry for the late response. CX is madly (I kind of mean that literally too) in love with XY. So he doesn't want her to marry anyone but him. That's why he doesn't attend the wedding.

When he found out she ran away from her wedding he was extremely happy but not so much about the fact that she ran off with FFB. So when she comes back he's upset but not because she ditched her wedding.

I LOVEEED that exchange. Cause XL is really not afraid of anyone or anything (except XY reciprocating feelings lmao). I need to see more of that in s2 cause everyone else besides people CX is related to is afraid of him.

I hope we get to see CX's reaction to FFB stealing XY from the wedding cause in the novel it just gives a brief description of his feelings at the time when he found out since he didn't attend the wedding.

I also really want to see the fight between Jing and FL too.

I doubt they will show this next season cause limited episodes but...I really want more CX jealousy scenes but specifically with FFB/XL. I like the Jing and XL/XL and Jing scenes or the Jing and CX scene a lot but I kind of want a fun mix you know?

I think they made the policy delays because before, way back when people involved with production and advertisers would drag out shows and add unnecessary details just to make more profit. So they made the 40 ep cap but the loophole was 2 seasons instead of 1 so now they made this new regulation as well.

Exactly, and this drama is doing so well right now. I saw that one of the actors daughter and wife commented about the situation but they both said conflicting things so who knows.

Hopefully, I'm glad him and many of the other cast members are receiving recognition for this drama.
