Are people really hating on Seon Ah? She might be one of my favorite female characters ever honestly, she's a very realistic character: she has depression, she can't think clearly, and yet she's still trying to do better. This is real life where people struggle and aren't perfect all the time. I'm rooting for her to find the happiness she deserves, whether that is with Dong Seok (hope they get to be together until the end) or not.

Every time tving announces a drama that interest me I get a little panic attack because you can never know if it will get subs 🥲

They probably wanted it to look like Hitchcock, but it ended up looking like Birdemic instead

Alright, so basically the scene shown in the beginning wasn't real, he didn't really hit his wife and killed her: that was just a (wrong) deduction made by the police. At the end of the episode they explain that it was a double suicide planned by the wife (not going to spoil the reasons, but they're not related to domestic violence), the bruises on her body were made by him panicking while trying a cpr on her body, but she was already dead. There is a mention of domestic violence in the backstory of the main character as he was a victim of his father, but they don't really show anything. BUT the whole drama is actually based on school violence, so you can expect lots of bullying and violent scenes. If you think that it might be too much then it would be best to stop now.

If you enjoy psychological thrillers then you will probably love it :)

I think that after it's done it will eventually get more fans, even though it will probably remain a niche drama. One of the biggest reasons why a lot of people aren't liking is that it's using an unconventional storytelling with the omnibus format, which can be a hit or miss for some due to the fact that it takes more time to fully connect with the story compared to other healing dramas. I also think that it deserves more love, it's honestly becoming one of my favorites.

I think that trolls is what's happening to the comment section 😂. The comments saying that this is the best show ever made and better than breaking bad and others were deleted, and users with the same names as the ones who wrote those things are now writing "so people are saying that this is the best drama ever made, haven't seen it yet, but people are actually saying those things etc etc". So yeah, just ignore those comments. 🤷

I think it wasn't as bad as some people say and it had some powerful scenes, but 6 episodes weren't enough and the way the plot devoloped was quite messy. The switch from the first half to the second half was jarring. But at least it was better than monstrous, since it didn't feel like a bad copy of another movie.

I mean, people say it about almost every drama if you scroll through the comment sections, "best drama ever made" is a praising that gets thrown around quite often. Anyway we're in 2022, it's time to stop using breaking bad as a comparison; it's already annoying enough when people do it with western TV shows

I get it, but I never understood the need to compare two TV shows to decide the best (and it usually only leads to fights among the fans) . For me the fact that both are great is enough

Keep in mind that the ratings are still decreasing, many people have yet to watch it. Also 7.6 here on mdl is really low; it means that it isn't doing good. I can't see it getting much lower than this

But this drama really is great, with solid pacing and only some minor flaws. Wether it's the best drama ever made it's another thing of course (and obviously it doesn't make sense to have those comparisons), but it definitely deserves the praisings; if we need to wait for the objectively best drama ever made to give some well-deserved praisings then it's going to take a veeeeeery long time because no such thing exists yet 🤷.

I totally understand you. Even if Breaking Bad is one of my absolute favorites I agree that there are so many good shows out there as good as that one, what's wrong with people choosing what's their coup of tea? I also have friends who mostly like the same things as me, but of course even with them there are things we don't agree with: for example I love the movie Memories of A Murderer, but one friend of mine who also loves Bong Joon Ho said he didn't like it and we still talk about it without insulting each other, incredible right? ahah. I don't understand what's so difficult in understanding that people can have different tastes😂.

Big yes to everything you said. I mean you won't find a single show/movie that is liked by literally everyone, not even the most universally acclaimed ones, it's literally impossible. Now, there are many dramas out there that got a lot of hype that I watched and I felt meh about, but at most I'm going to write my issues with the drama itself; I would never try to belittle people who liked it. And if the drama is beloved by many then I think that there must be a motivation, even if I can't understand it, of course it's not like people are crazy about something for no reason. I mean I have no problem with criticisms or people finding something I like to be overated, but I start to have an issue when someone acts like people are dumb for liking something they don't 😅😂

I swear I don't understand people sometimes and why they get worked up over nothing when it's much more peaceful when you learn to respect other's people tastes 😂
