Title Our Blues
This drama is going to be on my watch list. I seem to like dramas which MDL rates 7.5 to 8 since those are dramas…
By weather forecast you mean forecasting love and weather? Is that drama actually worth watching? I'm curious because I can't find a single good review about it so I just assumed it was meh or bad, but the fact that you're talking about existential crisis in relation to that drama has me intrigued.

How is there not motivation? Revenge for being severely bullied and traumatized is not enough motivation?
Yes, he saw it but Jong Suk may have justified himself by saying "it was what Choelie wanted, he just needed a little push" and Kyung Min went along with it because he didn't know that Choelie had actually told Jong Suk that he didn't want to die anymore and that he wanted to live for his mother's sake. I also had the impression that Kyung Min is suppressing his guilt toward Cheolie because when he saw the picture in the warehouse he looked terrified. He probably knows that what they did was wrong, but he is justifying it by saying that it was Cheol's will.

And you're right, Cheol was messed up because of his family situation, but the moment he chose to protect Jong Suk and Kyung Min he also became a target of bullying. His father's death played a part in him wanting to die, but the situation at school completely pushed him to the edge: not only he was suspended for a while, but the bullies (Park Chan Young to be specific) used his father's death as a way to weaken him and humiliate him; Chan Young knew well that Cheolie couldn't afford to be seen as weak (he even says that to Jong Suk) and he used that as a way to mock him. At the end of the day Cheolie was still a young boy with a messed up view of the world, he thought that to survive he had to become a monster, and a monster can't be weak or pitied. This is how I interpreted it at least.

Yes and no. If it wasn't for the bullies Cheolie would have never made that drastic decision to kill himself. He chose to do it because he was pushed to the limit by the violence at school that became worse and worse, so it's not possible to say that they don't have a very huge part in his death.

As for the detective I think it will be answered in the finale when they will finally meet eye to eye and have a confrontation about it, we don't even know if Kyung Min is aware that Cheolie changed his mind about the suicide thing, because that is something that Cheol told Jong Suk only, that night in which Kyung Min wasn't present.

Please also keep in mind that Kyung Min is definitely not in his right state of mind, the last victim even told him that they killed Cheol themselves (or something along those lines) by worshipping him like a God, but Kyung Min refused to listen and dismissed it because he still treats Cheol like a God.

People complaining about there not being likeable characters, considering they`re all flawed.Me,having watched…
I have yet to watch anything from this writer (even though some of her works are in my list), but what caught my attention is exactly the fact that they are flawed and they feel like real people. I was getting tired of seeing unrealistically perfect characters in a lot of dramas😂

How did Kyung Min know that Cheol changed his mind? Didn't he only tell Jong Suk about it? Kyung Min still seemed…
As for your first question, we don't know yet if Kyung Min knows everything. But since he still considers Jong Suk a friend I personally believe that he isn't aware that Cheolie had completely changed his mind that night, he probably thinks that Jong Suk pushed Cheolie following his will because Cheolie didn't have the courage to do it himself, because that's what it looks like from Kyung Min's point of view.

As for Kyung Min's wife it's heavily implied that she was able to figure out his plan and, out of love and desperation, chose to die with him to prevent him from committing the crimes and becoming a monster (keep in mind that at the time Kyung Min had already set his plan in motion and had already murdered someone too). And yes, what triggered him was the picture of Kim Chul in the warehouse, he explains it in episode 5 (if I'm correct) during the conversation with Jong Suk that he remembered everything that day and that it was as if Cheolie had been waiting for him for years.

Because she realized that he was planning something bad (she said to him: "there are so many shady figures around you" or something along those lines), she probably knew he was beyond repair and tried to stop him that way.

It's both actually. Kyung Min wants to take revenge for himself, but also on the behalf of his two friends Cheolie and Jong Suk because they've been through all those awful things together (we can call it comradeship). He blames the bullies for Cheolie's death (it's unclear whether he blames Jong Suk as well) because Cheolie made the choice to die because of them. He doesn't want Cheolie to be forgotten and he wants the truth of those days, that led to Chul's death, to be exposed. He is also following Kim Chul's philosophy, so it's safe to say that Cheolie is a big motivation for Kyung Min's actions.

I agree, he deserves a happy ending as well
I don't think an happy ending would fit the tone of the drama from what we've seen so far. I honestly hope they won't force it into the story like a lot of Kdramas do.

I think the problem is that she's rather bland so it's hard to sympathize with her. But she does have a point though; witholding crucial information to the investigation is a big issue. Jong Suk is a man affected by trauma (so his attitude makes sense), but when you look at it from a professional point of view he's also a police officer and as such he has the duty to put aside his personal feelings an be honest.

You're right. The point of the whole drama is that they were all traumatized and mentally scarred by the violence they experienced during their childhood and so things went out of control. There is no clear distinction between heroes and monsters, Cheolie included. But at the same time, you can't really justify them for all the things they did.

Yes, this is the first time we've seen Kyung Min so shocked. So either he wasn't expecting that violent reaction out of Jong Suk or it's because of something that Jong Suk said. Anyway I'm sure the ending will make me cry a lot.

Yes, I'm curious about Jong Suk's fate too. But I don't think Kyung Min can kill him, it genuinely looks like he cares about him but at the same time he wants Jong Suk to remember everything and join him. Maybe he wants to die along with Jong Suk or Idk.

I'm like 99.9% sure the teacher will die because he was shown in the teaser, and Kyung Min had written "I will kill you" on his car (gosh, I love how extra he is 😂) back in episode 3. I also have a feeling that Kyung Min will kill himself at the end(😭).

I've just seen it, these are more or less my assumptions as well, but I thought that the tomb Kyung Min was visiting was either Cheolie's tomb or his wife's tomb, I tried to zoom in but failed. I also agree that Kyung Min is trying to expose school's violence in public, this is why he chose that moment to turn himself in (or he's a fan of the movie S7ven and wanted to do something similar 😂)

But what intrigues me the most is the scene in the car: where are they going? Is Jong Suk simply escorting Kyung Min on the police station? Or are they on the run because Jong Suk has completely lost his mind?

As for the teacher: he is still alive in the teaser, but I'm sure Kyung Min hasn't forgotten about him, so does he kill before turning himself in or he manages to escape and murders him after? Aaaah I can't wait!

I agree with you, something I love about this drama is that Cheolie, Jong Suk and Kyung Min are all three complex and morally grey characters. What Jong Suk did was unforgivable, but he clearly feels remorse and was deeply traumatized at the time. He is a coward and a hypocrite, but not a monster or a bad person. Cheolie was also messed up, he needed help but was instead worshipped for his messed up ideas and this was his downfall. Kyung Min has basically misunderstood everything about Cheolie and chose to do "what Cheolie couldn't do" and went on a, probably suicidal, revenge path, but in doing so he abandoned his family, which is actually the contrary of what Cheolie wanted to do at the time. They are all so pitiful and tragic when you think about it.
