Heavenly emperor got the ending he deserved. Death would had been too easy for him and just further "justified" that the realms were "right" and YT is evil/will end the world. They won't care about the details, just that YT killed the heavenly emperor who is supposed to be "good" and guarded the common people. Taking away his cultivation is the way to go because people will see YT left this man alive instead of just outright destroying him. In addition, nothing hurts the Heavenly Emperor more than not having power. He now has nothing, no wife, no kids, no realm. His own clan let YT in because they all know he is in the wrong. And he is going to have to live the rest of his life having to swallow this humiliation.

Phew, YT is so badass! She really grieved and then went revenge mode. Super satisfying seeing her taking out everyone and another great callback to earlier episodes where she wanted to rule the void realm. Another thing I appreciate about this drama is that FL actually go exact revenge. There has been so many dramas where the FL say they will go get revenge but they either back out later or the revenge was never fully done. YT is the perfect FL for this because other xianxia FL (or "nicer" characters) would had just accepted their fate and live out the rest of their lives in peace since a loved one sacrificed for them, not YT though!

Also gotta praise LLD again, she is so good as YT. Even more so when you read/watch their interviews and you see that LLD is nothing like YT. Even CXX said LLD is more on the quiet side/like a kitty. LLD herself said YT's emotions are more expressive and outward while she herself is more stable/internal. Also this is first time LLD did a more comedic role and she herself said she was worried at first and cried because she didn't think she can hit the comedic parts of the character but she did so well.
RIP to Man Man. Just angst after angst. Just thinking about how Man Man had always been there for Yetan through it all. If QK gave YT familial love, then MM was the one who made YT less lonely. Remember that despite QK wanting to be with YT, she had her duties/studying as the heaven to-be consort so MM was probably the one who was always in person by YT. Agree, there are not many actors in this age range who can play all 5 characters; YQ 1.0, LM, MYQ, WR, and YQ 2.0
Not to mention CXX himself came up with a lot of the mannerisms for these characters to bring them to life. LM in the novel speak full sentences but CXX changed it to fit LM’s character setting aka someone who didn’t speak to others for a long time, so won’t make sense to be able to speak in full sentences.
Comments brought up YY but YY is not the best actor. He plays decent in the roles he does (cold/cool male leads) but he doesn’t have enough depth in his acting. There was this movie he acted before where he was more of a non-cool character and he got dragged by netizens for being “oily”. It is not easy acting a character who is outgoing/flirty without coming off of as greasy.
WL is a good actor and I can see him acting as say LM and MYQ. But I can’t see him as WR. Wenren’s looks matter to the character and WL doesn’t have the “pretty boy” look to transform him into WR. Imagine WL with that WR wig and pink robe. 😭

Her crying scene had a mixture of sadness, relief, and happiness, I still don't care for the emperor since I believe there was still something that he could had done instead of just outright neglecting her and just let the court roll him over. But I am happy for her, she just wanted to know deep down her father cared in some ways.
