Yes! On the livestream towards the end, the staff asked if they would be willing to work together again and they said yes. Hopefully it happens soon. Since TSL was technically filmed in 2021, it has been 2 years already. Hoping we don't have to wait for 10 years like some other drama CPs LOL.
Watching the CXX & LLD livestream parts. They seem so close. I wonder if they've kept in close contact after they…
Definitely! It is known CXX visited on site when LLD filmed "GO Into Your Heart" (or another drama I forgot) and celebrated her birthday there with her. You can also tell because LLD used to call CXX "Xingxu-ge" or "senior brother" during filming (more formal) but now straight up just calls him by his name "Xingxu" (no formalities).
The novel is BE until the epilogue (which is apparently HE). YT's and YQ's relationship in the novel is a bit…
Yup! Their relationship in the novel is kind of like the typical trope in this genre with misunderstandings and not finding out the truth until the very end and not fully admitting their love till the end. I appreciate that the drama took their relationship in another direction and that they were in a relationship ASAP once YQ came back and they had a really stable foundation/no misunderstandings/strong trust in each other.
Anyway, did anyone read the original novel? How does it compared to the drama and audiodrama? I am thinking to…
The novel is BE until the epilogue (which is apparently HE). YT's and YQ's relationship in the novel is a bit different too, they had more misunderstandings/hiding things/not being honest with their feelings. From what I know, YQ died at the end of the novel while YT, QK, and Man Man were alive.
Me, too. So many good things in this drama that surpass SO many other dramas combined.
Yup! The ending objectively doesn't take away from the drama since it is technically still a HE and it made sense. But I get the mixed feelings. I need Youku to drop those special episodes.
anyways i don't know what y'all talking about it ended with their wedding haha ❤️
Honestly, we can just edit the sequence of the drama and make the wedding at the beast realm the actual ending 😂 Just say 1000+ later after their flower revival and here is the wedding!
I second this. This was what I felt/thought as well at the end of the drama. At least now they can live in peace…
Yup! At the end of the day, they still revived LOL. Plus they are immortals so they will be clapping cheeks in like hundreds/thousands of years when they have their human forms again, we just don't get to see it lmaoooo.
Still rating this drama a 10/10. The acting was especially insane in the last/final episode. I sobbed for real. Just wow, I want to thank this cast for giving me this experience. They definitely elevated this drama with their acting and the changes they made.
I want to see YT and QK in their human forms again BUT overall, the ending fits the theme of the drama. The drama opened up with the twins as flowers and ended with the twins as flowers again. YT didn't understand why YQ would give up his life for the realms but through this journey with him and the people she loves/people that love her, she understands that the realms are worth saving because of "emotions/love/sentiments". She was able to let go of any resentment and still save the realms because she had people worth protecting.
At least this time, when they revive in their human forms again, they will no longer be hunted, but appreciated as the ones who saved/protected the world and can truly live in peace.
