Title Coroner's Diary Spoiler
I do feel bad for the Crown Prince and Prince Cheng over one thing:
They never found out that the Emperor they knew for the last decade or so is fake. The real Emperor loved the Crown Prince a lot. It was also not the real Emperor that encouraged Prince Cheng to feud with the Crown Prince. Truly one decision caused a domino effect that destroyed lives.

Not a bad ending although it was a bit ridiculous to have all the villains do each other in so that the main leads…
It is not likely they would have "dirty" their hands anyway (they would probably just have exile them in secrecy or lock them up without the public knowing or expose certain crimes where they will get punished but not crimes about the throne). Yan Chi had the chance with Prince Cheng and didn't do it since he is trying to follow the proper procedures. Because if he does kill him, then the whole message of this drama falls apart. Personal revenge via killing doesn't "end" anything. It just gives rise to more. A proper system needs to be set in place instead where the law can punish for the common people and relieve those who did seek revenge out of justice (which was what happened at the end with Qing).

Without giving major spoilers can someone pls answer 1. Is it worth a watch? (i see it has good ratings)2. Is…
1. Yes IMO, fast paced, and it doesn't get boring.

2. Romance is great, it doesn't overtake the cases and is sprinkled here and there but the relationship is amazing. Any misunderstanding gets resolved within the episode and the couples are just very supportive and loving to each other.

3. Not really. There were characters that had crushes on FL and another one on ML, but they don't derail the plot, and they are not relevant after 1-2 episodes.

4. Very happy ending.

Our 3 couple get HE. But the ending not that good. Drama started to clear Prince Jin and Shen yi innocence. But…
It was for the greater good. Shen Yi and Prince Jin didn't know they were protecting Yan Han instead of Yan Huai (though Shen Yi was planning to investigate but he was killed off before then). In addition, revealing the truth would absolutely destroy the country. Citizens would absolutely question all the prior good laws that were established. The legitimacy of the throne would come into question too and it will give rise to rebellions. Other countries will take this chance to attack them too.

Yan Han at the end of the day was seen as a "good" emperor by the commoners. Even Empress Dowager said Yan Han was a better Emperor for the people than Yan Huai. When it comes down to it, this was a "family conflict". The commoners didn't do anything to deserve being dragged into instability or into wars just because there was some mess with these imperial people killing over each other for greed or power or their personal revenge. It is also why at the end; they added in new established laws to the criminal code that can ensure /normal citizens/ will be protected more. Because at the end of the day, these imperial people had privileges and options that would have allowed them to do things differently. Someone like Qing didn't have the resources to get her justice in the judicial way. While someone like Yan Ze dragged too many people into his plot, even innocent people into it when he didn't have to. Class and gender played a big role in this drama.

Haha for sure, the best practice is just doing it, he has been filming non-stop at this point. LLD is just one of his better acting partners (not to say his other acting partners were bad, but LLD is one of the top actresses in her age group already, so he gained a lot from working with her).

The director of this drama is also a pretty good one because she didn't just take the easy way out and allow the first cut to pass (which some directors do just to finish in time or they don't want to fight with the actors/actresses who think they know more). She made sure to get the best acting for the scene.

Where do you see the heat index. Is it on the Iqiyi network?
Yes, you can see it on the Chinese iQiyi website! But if you don't have access but have Chinese social medias like XHS, you can still see it since people screenshot these things and talk about it.

ARP probably learned a lot from LLD (which shows his will to improve since he is still considered a novice in acting). There were behind the scenes of him literally recording LLD with his phone during filming together to study her acting. It was also mentioned by one of the screenwriters that he would watch replays of LLD's performances on the monitors. He definitely put in the effort for this drama, and you can see his improvement compared to say his first ever drama.

6 is considered passing on Douban. It is really 7+ above that is considered good. This drama got skewed on the lower end due to the traffic star fans' involvement, but it is still passing with the range and it being an idol drama. There are a lot of praises for the last case too so this drama will have a pretty long positive running effect (even more people will tune in to watch).

Yup! It should be done filming by around September, takes 2 months to film.
The plot summary on MDL is not accurate at this time. Instead of sisters, it will be 3 friends. Li Landi's character is Han Chinese, Xia Zi, who grew up in Kashga, later left, and then came back due to reasons.

Tbh, good dramas on there without involvement of traffic stars can get good scores (usually 7 and above) if they are actually good. Li Landi's dramas like "My Huckleberry Friends", "The Starry Love", "Angels Fall Sometimes", and "Filter" are all in the 7-8+ range on Douban.

Usually, the traffic fandom and antis balance itself out, so the score is still "correct", but this drama doesn't have the traffic fanbase to balance it out so it being 6+ at this point is a very good thing. Li Landi herself has also built a rep of having decent/good dramas, so non-fan viewers aren't going to see this score and think it is some terrible drama.

Sui is the son of Consort Jin and the real emperor. Yan Li is son of fake emperor (Yan Han).
Yeah, Yan Sui is his son too. He treated him really well before too until the murder of Consort Jin happened and Prince Sui became scared of him. So he now only ended up caring about Yan Li.

The drama on Douban opened at 6.4 and has now dropped to 6.3 due to the influx of 1-star ratings (likely by the traffic star fans). 6+ is considered passing on Douban so it is fine especially since our leads don't have the fans to fight against this type of purposeful downvoting. I think this drama deserves around 6.8 - 7 on Douban but anything above a 6 at this point is good when you have these fans out to get this drama.

These traffic star fans have been pissed every single day now and are basically taking it out on this drama.

No, the emperor did say both Yan Chi and Yan Ze are eligible for the throne. They are just not his direct "sons".…
Yes, since their fathers' mother is the Empress Dowager. Empress Dowager's 3 sons in the drama are Yan Huai, Yan Han, and Yan Lin. In the novel, only Yan Huai and Yan Han were her sons. All the other sons/princes were from concubines.
