On the plus side, what they're doing matters so little to the plot that not having any idea what's going on with them in no way stops you from following it, since everything that's happened these past 11 eps coulda been summarized in a 30-minute sand painting.😒

Hmm, by then I was finding it epic, the fight scene in that ep was really cool and I loved how the leads were working together and the brotherhood with Rumu.

Yeah I think it’s mainly terrible writing. All throughout 1-17 QT has basically been happy chilling with FG and not even remembered bro unless someone is sending her his legs or otherwise actively hurting him— she talks about how she wants to save him sure but they never have any scenes showing any kind of bond there. To suddenly have her wanting to die with him and declaring brotherhood with him is crazy for someone not even writing him butterfly letters or remembering him for 3 months during the ep13 arc lol. The actress did the best with what she was given but it wasn’t a lot, can only blame the writers 😂

The soundtrack from that one (LiP) seems pretty epic from the songs of it they play in S&B too.

You only need about ~25M viewers in Youku to hit 10K iirc, iQIYI it’s more like ~50-60M, so the different platforms have different scales. Not sure what Mango’s is but you can probably extrapolate from Yunhe views of when they got it. But agree it’d go higher if they’d kept the momentum up eps 1-12 were so good and the show had the potential to be amazing.
