They are the ones who are pushing to introduce an age cap on historical drama leads, and Princess’ Gambit also suffered from terrible writing and editing. tbh, it is way more likely that the platforms were working with multiple locked cuts for stuff like subbing and dubbing (very normal) and that they didn't update to the final cut before airing or someone mislabeled a version. I think the blooper stuff was only WeTV one of the comments said? In that case, it would just be a WeTV staffer who messed up, not the whole show's editors for those.
The editing and pacing and writing being off is probably more to do with there being 4 producers and 7 screenwriters and 5 production companies involved and only 3 months total to shoot the whole thing than anyone intentionally sabotaging it. Overall it has still been super enjoyable to me despite the stuff you're flagging, and I feel like genuine sabotage would have resulted in a product that wasn't fun to watch, not just continuity issues ☺️
