I honestly can't see the power gang lasting with LSF as a leader, I want him as the new head of the Tang clan myself. Having minimal morals himself, he could get rid of the rot in that clan in a heartbeat and they'd like and respect his ruthlessness there. But as for the power gang, their moral is "Mutual Benefit" but LSF has so far been terrible at the "mutual" in nearly every dealing he's ever had with others.

Put that Blade King guy in charge of it; he looks like he's all right at the "mutual".

Absolutely, can’t have an oldest bro who’s been a jerk 12 eps straight die without a eureka moment and an apology, people even cried for the guy 😂 As to the cliff I think it was a flashback to the scene where him and Yiren are chatting at the table earlier in the show but it may be a new scene, can’t remember. But there’s currently no vibe of him being taken over, he just has one very evil LN in his head saying “you’re a minor character in the book and no one even cares if you die, so what about you become a horrible person and go kill some peoples “ and k is like *conflicted yet tempted expression * “sure.” His start down the dark side was the accidental murder of his mother while trying to absorb powers with the void codex, and then Dad said “you are a crappy human being” instead of “i’m sure you only accidentally did it my son I love you” so K went full out “well everyone loves everyone else better anyway so i’ll just kill them”.

A few accidental murders, then some deliberate ones to remove witnesses, and then devolved to casually murder just to absorb inner power, no cares at all. His goal is world domination, so hopefully he will kill the current emperor to replace him and then be killed, I can dream.

Yiren dies, Kaiyan is exposed as the Water King but his minions mostly just accept it and keep working with him anyway and some beautiful martial arts happen, Crazy Yan flies off with the hero token. LSF also goes to the sects whose leaders he murdered (bc no other deaths need apologies apparently) and gets told he’s a good fighter so he can redeem himself by killing the right people, so hopefully he’ll take them up on that offer and we’ll get an epic team up against the enemy nation 🎉

He really did. I mean even if a handsome guy in a suit offers you ultimate power for being evil, you could really just say no. He literally has no reason for doing any of this other than "no one appreciated me as much as I appreciate myself" and that's such a low reason to murder absolutely everyone around you.

(Yeah, LSF is fully forgiven for me, as the sky voices say, just say sorry and kill the right people from now on, my dude, and we'll be fine.)

Wowww, so Kaiyan definitely won that race to the bottom he and Yiren were racing on; not even possessed, just actually really that horrible.

Did I read it right with the "you saw how we had it all there" and the "I am you" that they came /from/ the book originally, then /to/ the modern world, and then got sent /back/ to the book? If so no wonder the System said "character setting OOC" at the start. Not the rewrite-- XQS he himself was in the OOC modern setting.

(i am wildly guessing at this point, my bar is super low though, just pls somehow give me a happy ending, show. Including for LCZ ;-;)
