Did they announce it will have 2 seasons?

I read somewhere that it will be released in two parts. Part one will come out on the 24th of June and it will have 6 eps that will be released on the same day.

I am very glad to see her again and I feel like the role will suit her.
On the other hand some parts of the teasers seem much more over the top than what the series promises to the viewer.
Even if it ends up being like a makjang, I hope it is addictive and entertaining and also serves as a good continuation for her career.

I am having mixed feelings from the teasers. I feel like it will either end up being great and addicting or it will be unwatchable. I am hoping for the best.

It is not finished yet and you will need to have patience to read it from there, since webtoon works with a daily pass if you want to read it for free, but if you can, read at least the first chapters from there to support the creator!

I wouldn't phrase it like that. No, it is not exactly "old men talking about strategies", it's more like "important court people talking about politics and scheming against each other". Give the first 10 minutes of the first episode a chance and you will get your answer.

It depends on whether you like series based on politics. If you like them, then yes, it is easy to watch, if you don't, then you will probably find it hard to watch.

According to AvenueX, The Record of Strange Things got filmed back in 2016 and it got released this year, so I am not going to lose hope for this one. I still do believe it will come out this year.

Thanks for the info. Sounds pretty interesting and from the things you mentioned, I feel like I will like it. I wanted to watch it for quite a while, but me and historical series have a complicated relationship. Thankfully I am finally in the mood to watch more historical dramas, so I will probably watch this one soon.

I haven't seen the ones you mentioned, but this is like 80% politics with barely any romance.
Meanwhile, I should watch the Crowned Clown lol. I have only seen the movie it was based on.

Like first scene of this one and you will see the huge difference.
Scarlet heart was great and this one is also really good so far, but at the same time they can't be compared.
If you end up giving it a chance though, I hope you like it.

This is political heavy and generally it has quite a serious atmosphere, so if you are looking for something like Scarlet Heart or Hwarang, it is better to skip this one.
I personally enjoy it a lot. The plot is interesting and it has gorgeous cinematography, but again it has nothing in common with Hwarang or Moon lovers. Both of those series were quite light hearted with more comedic elements and more romance heavy, comparing to this one.
However if you are thinking of watching it, I would suggest you to give it a chance. It will at least please you from a visual aspect.

That's weird. I could understand the whole series becoming unavailable, but not just bits. I would suggest, you wait a couple of days to see if it becomes available on Viki again, and if not, send an email to the help center asking if the series is no longer available due to regional restrictions or if there is a bug.

I personally can access it through Viki. I suppose that when they buy the rights of a series it can have region restrictions after a while, if something like that is mentioned in the contract. You can't access it in any of the platforms?
