This is political heavy and generally it has quite a serious atmosphere, so if you are looking for something like Scarlet Heart or Hwarang, it is better to skip this one.
I personally enjoy it a lot. The plot is interesting and it has gorgeous cinematography, but again it has nothing in common with Hwarang or Moon lovers. Both of those series were quite light hearted with more comedic elements and more romance heavy, comparing to this one.
However if you are thinking of watching it, I would suggest you to give it a chance. It will at least please you from a visual aspect.

That's weird. I could understand the whole series becoming unavailable, but not just bits. I would suggest, you wait a couple of days to see if it becomes available on Viki again, and if not, send an email to the help center asking if the series is no longer available due to regional restrictions or if there is a bug.

I personally can access it through Viki. I suppose that when they buy the rights of a series it can have region restrictions after a while, if something like that is mentioned in the contract. You can't access it in any of the platforms?

Yes. They are the two main platforms that have kdramas here. There are barely any available on iQiyi and WeTV and Disney will not be available in the country until June (and even when it becomes available, I doubt it will have any kdramas for the first few weeks or months) VIU and kocowa are also not available 🥲 The one that has the most kdramas is probably Viki, but lately they are also barely getting any with all the other platforms that started to get exclusive rights for kdramas (Disney, Apple TV, Netflix)

Oh okay. VIU is not available at all in my region so I have no idea. Most of the times when Viki takes the license first, the same series is not available on iQiyi here. I suppose there are big differences depending on the country that one is from.

I see this once in a while, but I don't believe it is true. I mean, if it is re-edited, doesn't it mean that it needs to pass again from the board (or whatever it is called) just to be broadcasted someday? If it has a license then I suppose it should air as is.

God, I don't know. Meanwhile, WRTW has some awful editing. It seems that either the director or the editor didn't do a good job or they chopped scenes left and right. I can't even imagine what may happen to this with the whole censorship thing, if WRTW is like that.
