I second Beyond Evil if you are into character driven and slow paced series. There are quite a lot non romance kdramas that are worth watching like Save me, Children of nobody and the recent The King of Pigs.

I am not watching this particular series, but keep in mind that volunteers translate the series on viki, so it is natural for the subs to be late since most of them have other things to do than just translate, segment, edit etc. Also they can start translating after the series becomes available on Viki (which is pretty late most of the times - Vikis fault) and not in advance like other platforms such as netflix. As a result many times other sources provide subs earlier, because they have more time to work on the series and they have access to the raws earlier. Regarding the subs for other languages, the English team should give permission to the other language translators for them to start translating. Basically if the English translation is not finished that means that other language translators can't start translating. Also, many times, the final corrections from the editing team are not finished, even if the subs are done (they have reached 100%), and as a result other language subbers can't start translating. When I watch series on Viki I keep in mind that I will watch an episode at least one day later :)
