I was really close to watching it before, but I probably couldn't wait for the next episodes so I will wait a little bit more until it finishes, or a day or two before the finale.

Like the comment before me, I'd like to say, that you would not regret it at all. It's a masterpiece of a show.…
Thank you for the reply. It really does seem interesting and I like series that give emphasis on the characters and are realistic. I will definitely watch. I will probably start it tomorrow though, of after it finishes so that I won't have to wait.

Title Start-Up
Is the romance the main theme of the series? or is it treated more like a side story?

Currently on ep 24, I'm quite dissapointed to see the female lead who was supposed to be brave and smart is becoming…
I am on episode 16 and I wouldn't characterize Yan Yan as brave and smart. Sure she knows a few things about politics and she knows how to fight but she was always reckless and naive. She put herself and others in danger a few times. On the other hand though, she is supposed to be very young in the story and her way of thinking is ahead of her age. I hope she becomes smarter in the next episodes.

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
I didn't like the original show, Docter Foster. Should I give this version a chance?
1. The husband is more unlikable
2. The wife is not as psychopathic.
3. The music is phenomenal.
4. There are slight differences in some scenes, but in general nothing much changes
5. Cultural differences (not sexually explicit)
6. The mistress in the original is more passive than in this one.
7. Cinematography wise this seems more Korean style (different colors, different shots, more close ups)
8. I have also heard that the FL in this is more professional in her job.
In general it depends on what are your preferences.

I haven't watched Dr. Foster, but I can list you the differences between the two shows from the things I have read so that you can decide. I will post it under as a spoiler in case you don't want to read it. In my opinion give it a try (watch the first two episodes) and if you don't like it drop it. I have generally heard that there not many differences plot-wise though.

Review Mother
Thank you! Hm, let's see. I think it felt... lacking? Since it was just 'shown as it is', we, as the viewers,…
I watched the movie two days ago and I completely agree with what you are saying. There was definitely something lacking in the film and I also believe that the movie could be about 15 minutes less. The final scenes were a little bit longer than necessary. On the other hand though I understand why that was done. As you said the movie is realistic and raw. I liked how they showed us only the main family as we were able to understand a little bit better in what environment the protagonist grew up in. Japanese movies are great in writing a character's personality and psychological state. It reminded me a little bit of nobody knows.
Do you perhaps know anything about the true story? I searched it but couldn't find anything.
