I think it will be renewed. It will definitely be a hit in Japan and in most asian countries but I am not sure about worldwide. For example many people will not give it a chance because it is japanese. Netflix spend a lot of money so it will depend on the popularity. Unfortunately all we can do is promote it.

Same. I hope they renew it, but they probably will since it will be a hit in many countries. The fact that it is based on a manga is really good since more people will give it a chance. Same thing happened with girl from nowhere. Many people from asian countries watched it and it got renewed (even though it was a little later than what it should). So I believe they will also renew this. If it takes two years for the next season I will read the manga immediately so that I remember as less as possible when the 2nd season airs. Chishiya is a fantastic (and my favorite) character and Kuina is a Queen. I hope Netflix renews it.
