Is this really airing on the 29th? I heard that the release date was changed.

It was so good! Waiting for season 2.
Even though people compare this to SKY Castle they are not that similar. This one is over the top from the beginning and it has a very good start. Even though I really liked SKY Castle I admit that the first episodes (until the 5th I think) were very boring. If I watched it alone I would have probably dropped it too.

I had this on my plan to watch list for quite a while and I had no idea that it was airing. There are many episodes so I will probably wait until more are released.

Is it going to be a prequel? I thought it was going to follow the pattern of the first season.

Yes exactly! That is obviously not wrong. The problem was that she gave an exact diagnosis after only one conversion. However that was the less shocking thing if you compare it to everything else that happened.

Her diagnosis might not be wrong, but still you don't diagnose someone like that and you don't tell it to their guardian if you are not 100% sure. Most of the times it takes a lot of time and different tests to be sure since some mental illnesses have similar characteristics with others.

Even though they have some similarities and they are both makjangs, I wouldn't really compare the two series. Penthouse is much more over the top than Sky Castle in every aspect. It is crazier and less serious.

Knowing that she is lying and making a diagnosis are too completely different things. However, everything is over the top so who cares about that detail?

I don't know. I follow some accounts on twitter that have some information about kdrama, but it is pretty much the same with mydramalist.

I have no idea what happened to this drama, but they will probably announce the release date suddenly like Sweet Home.

I was thinking about that too, even though I wish that it won't happen especially if the actors and actresses stay the same. We will wait and see I suppose. It is not impossible though to be just a continuation since this was supposed to be 2 seasons so about 43-44 episodes, but they decided to divided into 3 seasons with the last two having about 11-12 episodes. I just hope that it won't be a dissapointment.

Please tag this as a spoiler. I think I read about that too and it seems like something like that happened in the manga ( I am not entirely sure though) I don't know how they will handle it in the series.

I am close to dropping it too. Even though I like the directing and the colors are darker than the usual BL series,the other aspects are not good. It is not suspenseful even though it should be since it is a mystery-thriller series and the acting is stiff. It is a pitty since the concept has potential and as you said it is different from the usual BL and it seems that the author put effort into the book. I will try watching until maybe episode 7 since it is ongoing and I don't really feel pressured to watch it, and if it gets worse I will drop it too.

First half (maybe even until episode 10) is phenomenal and full of suspence. Unfortunately after that it gets draggy and it looses its charm. Overall though I think you should give it a chance!

Lol that's great to hear. I have been looking for an addicting and binge-worthy drama for a while. I will start this one soon!
