Title On Children
More people need to watch this because it's absolutely amazing!! The ratings do not do this series justice at…
Hi, did you watch it on Netflix? If not, could you tell me where you watched it, because I am trying to find it for a long time and I can't. Unfortunately it is not available on Netflix here, and the links below don't work.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Well, they did say her father was suffering from a brain tumor and his memory was failing him. So i'll just take…
I think that it was a smart thing to do, if you take into consideration the previous episodes. In the previous episodes of the drama we saw many examples of how memory can be deceiving. There were even theories that GT's memories of what happened at the lake were fake. I loved that part of the drama, because it showed that people see things from their own perspective and thus, sometimes, remember them completely wrong, or they just remember a part of it (ST remembered that he was thrown into the lake, GT remembered that his mother didn't love him at all). After all this, everyone's memories cannot be considered completely true at first glance. Same thing goes for MY's father. He could remember completely wrong, since his memories were hard to believe anyway, and it was stated that he had cognitive and memory problems. Plus, he was suffering for years. It is true that they could handle it more clearly though, but this is not a crime series, and that part is not that important comparing to the development of the characters.
I think everything revolves around memories. We cannot be sure that what we saw was what happened. Also, I think the part when she admitted to her husband that she was the killer was also part of MY's father memories.
The thing is that MY's mother was a person that we only saw through memories. We can't be sure of how she really was, when she was living with her family. Her husband described everything when he was sick, and MY remembered everything as a child. The character that we saw may have been different from the reality. Not completely, since MY's mother was clearly unstable, but I think you understand what I mean.
But you are right, that they could have handled it a little bit differently. It also depends on what point of view it is seen by the viewers. Also, many people said that it was the head nurse and that took the magic of the whole MY's mother case. It was speculated from the first episodes and after that everyone was more attentive to her behaviour, even the people that didn't notice it from that early on, so it was obvious that it was her.

I don’t understand why some reviews have this drama a high rating of 10, when they “dropped” it anyway?…
I really liked it, but it depends on your taste. Besides, there are also people that rate it with 1 after watching only 1 episode.

Agree it is a weakness in the drama. I can take that she survived but I cannot accept why she revealed herself…
Exactly. Also as many people said this is a character driven plot, so what really matters are the characters and not the mystery part of the story.

fight me if you don't think this a best drama of 2020
Well, for me this goes hand in hand with the world of the married and hospital playlist.

Agree it is a weakness in the drama. I can take that she survived but I cannot accept why she revealed herself…
What we saw, her husband killing her, putting her in a suitcase and throwing her into a lake, was MY's fathers memories that were distorted. It was clearly stated that because of his condition he had memory and cognitive problems, so what we saw wasn't completely true. Maybe he really tried to kill her, probably in a different way, but he didn't succeed.
MY's mother showed up, because it seemed like her daughter was going to be happy. For her, she was her work of art, a human without feelings and full of misery just like herself. She didn't want to see her happy and she wasn't capable of love. She left her alone as a being without emotions, so why show up? When she saw that there was a glimpse of her being happy, she wanted to destroy her. She stayed in the hospital just to torment her husband and make him as miserable as possible.
Also pretending and show love is something completely different. She could pretend, because of her own selfish reasons. She really didn't care about any of the patients (she gave the knife to the one MY tried to stab in the first episode, so he could kill himself). She didn't pretend with MY, because her goal was to make her a a monster. She was just being a nurse to torment her husband and to keep an eye on MY.

I was kind of curious on a lot of things and I don't think it was mentioned in the story... How did Mun-yeong's…
Please mark this as a spoiler, for the people that haven't watched it yet.

To be fair, I am one of the few people that questions the story regarding MY's mother and wish it could be more…
My mister, such a masterpiece.

Ep 15 was very unnecessary and dramatic for nothing. that last ending scene of them trolling their own "I love…
I think it was necessary, but that is just my opinion. As for MY's mother (head injury, basement, thrown in the lake) I don't know what I have missed and everyone is so confused with it. It was clearly stated that MY's father had cognitive and memory problems, because of his condition, so probably the whole story of him trying to kill his wife, or at least and throwing her into the lake was something that never happened. Also, even though MY remembered her mother bleeding in the basement, I think it was just something that she herself didn't remember correctly, as throughout the series there are many circumstances that the main characters see things entirely from their perspective, and thus don't remember what truly happened (ST remembered that his brother threw him into the lake, GT only remembered the bad sides of his mother etc). Even though MY's memory wasn't really explained, I think that the health of her father explains at least what he remembered, about killing his wife and throwing her into the lake. He probably did try to kill her (as MY's mothers states that he did), but he just injured her or he didn't succeed.

He was perfect. I have no idea how I will be able to watch him in another series and not think about Sang Tae.

If I could describe to someone this drama I would say it is about understanding. Ko Moon Young is a flawed character, just like almost everyone else on this series (especially the 3 main protaginists). Sang Tae is unhealthily dependent on his brother and Gang Tae is keeping everything in and that is what has made him miserable.
Obviously MY's actions are not justified, but she is who she is. She may be flawed but her and the rest of the protagonists had a major character development throughout the series. She helped the others, like they helped her. Was she logical and her actions were sane? No. But she was human and I think that that is what this series is trying to say (for me anyways). It pushes the viewers to understand every character's point of view. It doesn't mean that you will agree with their actions. It means that you will try to understand them just like in real life. The fact that you disagree with MY's actions doesn't mean she is a bad character or that she is a perfect human being. She is who she is and not everyone could be understanding of that. She is another person that is different from others in a way that may seem offending, but she herself doesn't really understand that. Besides she has a mental condition. Let's not forget that.
Also, even though the series is slow at times, I think the fact that you fast forwarded scenes was not really a good choice. Every word and gesture of every character was significant for their development. That is just my opinion. I just wanted to state how I personally felt about the series and the characters without invalidating your opinion.
Have a nice day.
P.S It was stated that MY's father has cognitive and memory problems, because of his condition so probably what we saw about the fact that he "killed" his wife was something that he remembered wrong.

I cried when Sang Tae said that Moon Gang Tae belongs to Moon Gang Tae. It was so beautiful. I fell like a burden got lifted off Gang Tae's shoulders and that Sang Tae will finally go on a path that will be completely his own.

to everyone complaining about the whole story of the mother, I think in the episode of moonyoung's father's death…
I completley agree with what you are saying. As for the memories of the father, it was stated that because of his condition he has cognitive and memory problems, so that explains everything

I didn't expect to love a last episode so much. I am negatively biased with last episodes and even if this series is perfect, I didn't expect that the last episode would be that good.
This series will be greatly missed.
