The world of the married is a remake of doctor foster. Maybe this is also a remake because the plot is similar, but at the same time the plot is not something uncommon so it could just be another infidelity story.

It's been a while since I enjoyed a movie from start to finish. This is truly great from the plot to the acting to the production and the OST.

I agree. He doesn't show any feelings either. Hyun Soo has learned to react and to know what feelings mean, but the father doesn't seem to care about anyone.

I personally loved tbe first 6 episodes the most since they are over the top and exaggerated in a good way. The rest of the series, especially after episode 8 is more light comparing to the previous episodes, so I think that you will like it better. I recommend you to continue.

If this goes well, then there is a high possibility that they will make a drama adaptation of bastard too.

I think that it was a smart thing to do, if you take into consideration the previous episodes. In the previous episodes of the drama we saw many examples of how memory can be deceiving. There were even theories that GT's memories of what happened at the lake were fake. I loved that part of the drama, because it showed that people see things from their own perspective and thus, sometimes, remember them completely wrong, or they just remember a part of it (ST remembered that he was thrown into the lake, GT remembered that his mother didn't love him at all). After all this, everyone's memories cannot be considered completely true at first glance. Same thing goes for MY's father. He could remember completely wrong, since his memories were hard to believe anyway, and it was stated that he had cognitive and memory problems. Plus, he was suffering for years. It is true that they could handle it more clearly though, but this is not a crime series, and that part is not that important comparing to the development of the characters.
I think everything revolves around memories. We cannot be sure that what we saw was what happened. Also, I think the part when she admitted to her husband that she was the killer was also part of MY's father memories.
The thing is that MY's mother was a person that we only saw through memories. We can't be sure of how she really was, when she was living with her family. Her husband described everything when he was sick, and MY remembered everything as a child. The character that we saw may have been different from the reality. Not completely, since MY's mother was clearly unstable, but I think you understand what I mean.
But you are right, that they could have handled it a little bit differently. It also depends on what point of view it is seen by the viewers. Also, many people said that it was the head nurse and that took the magic of the whole MY's mother case. It was speculated from the first episodes and after that everyone was more attentive to her behaviour, even the people that didn't notice it from that early on, so it was obvious that it was her.

I really liked it, but it depends on your taste. Besides, there are also people that rate it with 1 after watching only 1 episode.
