Wake me up when this airs 😍
You are welcome!
I'm not sure about the kid. They showed that boy for a few secs in the hospital. I don't think we found out what happened to him.
The worst part was, that we knew what would occur the moment the driver said about the problem on the bus. So seeing all this people stepping into the bus, knowing what will happen to them was 💔
The scene in the hospital...
The scene with the couple and the way her "shadow" hugged her. The way the mom hugged her daughter during the accident and she ended up dying. The woman hugging her gf to protect her. The man wanting to propose to his gf and she ended up hanging herself because she thought he died...
It was so sad and raw. The people waiting for their loved ones to come out breathing to only see them covered in a white sheet...
One of the saddest episodes I have seen this year.
Rest of episode 3: 😢
Episode 4: 😭😭🤧
I thought it was something for the cat, but nope paint 🤣
That dude that appeared and commented on Shen Yi's painting is very interesting. Directing choice of them walking on opposite directions but taking the "same" footsteps was excellent. Now, I'm wondering if that man is truly a criminal like it was hinted.
I like her character and don't really mind her having more screentime. It's just that it felt a bit out of place like they had to give her that extra screentime. If it was like that from S1 it would be fine, I just find it a bit unusual to suddenly go that route cause it feels like she has a different role in the force.
I think that maybe the mother will disappear after her burial or cremation. Maybe she was able to be with her daughter because she wasn't cremated. Her hug to her daughter felt like a goodbye one.
On the bright side, the first two eps were watchable.
If you think S1 was far-fetched, this one is even more, at least judging from the first case. It felt a bit like they were trying too hard to fit Shen Yi's skills in the case comparing to S1.
I did appreciate the fact that the first case kept the "atmosphere" of the first season (the bleary line between good and bad).
At the same time, S2 feels quite different. First of all, this could be just my imagination, but Shen Yi (Tan Jian Ci) sounds different. Secondly, He Rong Yue was barely present in the first season. She was important, but was mostly a background character and a professional of a few words. This season, it feels like she is there all the time and it kind of feels out of the blue cause she was never this involved in the investigation in the first season. Lastly, there were like 2-3 scenes that looked censored. Characters spoke and we didn't see them talk or their lip movements were different comparing to what we were hearing. Again, it could be just me.
First two eps were not bad, but were also not that great. I didn't really expect S2 to be as good as S1, because second seasons rarely surpass the first ones, so the fact that the eps were watchable is a plus, but at the same time I would lie if I said I am 100% satisfied.
S2 does feel different comparing to S1. Like they kept some elements of S1 but also changed others and as a result some things feel a bit unusual and out-of-character-different.
