I like him in general. I don't think he gets much screentime. On the contrary. I mean he didn't even appear from the get go of the drama and we had the two mains living together for ages.

I also disagree the good scenes go to him. The two mains have some amazing scenes together. I personally love some jealousy and angst in my dramas, but I understand you dislike that.

About the Fl, she is not drawing any boundaries from the get go. She literally lived in the same house with her boss and even tried to kiss him.
For me he's not creating any misunderstandings so far. ML loves Hu Xiu and Hu Xiu loves the ML. Pei is not in love with her. He's using her to provoke the ML, something she knows full well. He may find her attractive and interesting but he doesn't love her, and I feel the same goes for Hu Xiu. And FL tried to kiss the ML. If he doesn't get the hint that's on him.

And honestly if someone is at fault here that is the ML.
Hu Xiu rejected Pei over and over again. She only has eyes for the ML. But the ML is giving her mixed signals and rejected her. Is she supposed to wait for him forever? The ML should just talk to her, instead he is worried about her behind closed doors and thinking he doesn't deserve her.

That better be happening soon.

I get why some people dislike Pei Zhen, but I think he brings a very interesting ''spark'' in the drama and the actor is fantastic too.

He's clearly a very confident red flag, but it was clear from the get go he wasn't interested in the FL. He just wanted to provoke the ML (sth that she figured out) and he's doing an amazing job at it. Because of that I wouldn't even consider him the typical second ML that tried to steal the FL's heart.
He may find her attractive, but he's not in love with her. It's like he just finds her overly interesting and he's using her to irritate the ML.

Like I am sorry I love the ML, he's fantastic and their chemistry is amazing, but he should just stop pittying himself and get his girl. How can I hate Pei Zhen when he's actually trying to gain her trust, while the ML is doing nothing and he's just staring from afar?

Like something good is about to happen with the two of them and he just feels he doesn't desrve happiness. I can't really blame the scriptwriter on how he/she wrote the Pei Zhen's character, but I am lowkey annoyed by the fact that our actual ML is not trying to win her heart even though he loves her. Dude can't admit it to himself. He just probably needs a Pei Zhen to open his eyes.

I know many people hate him, but I think he's a very interesting character and pretty attractive too. I love his scenes with the FL, maybe because she doesn't give in and he is overly confident. Love their dynamics.

Like she said though, he's not really interested in her or at least he is not in love with her. I feel that for him she's someone he finds interesting and a way to provoke his "brother"

First of all, he said nothing to her about his big plans and got her super worried. Then whe she brought be food, he looked more annoyed than happy and after that disgusting dude started talking shit about her and even slapped her he was just standing there doing absolutely nothing.

This look like an epic historical drama. I truly hope it is as good as it looks.

Unfortunately you can't know if an edit was submitted or not. So you can just edit yourself and wait to get approved or rejected.

However most of the times when a popular show is airing, people have submitted edits and are just not approved yet.
