I'm just ranting but I hope they don't do any more of these belittling scenes cuz they're very unnecessary. I'm still rooting for our leads!

There's no problem with being single. That's not my issue. I don't like how the writers have to make the ML jealous just to show LMT's worth. The love triangles are unnecessary. Both men lied to her yet she treats one with respect and the other can't even have a word or else she verbally slashes him. At least CXZ didn't kill her people like Ziyu. That double standard is real.

I hope the hairpin will be the last of any physical harm on our ML or else it'd be too much.

These new episodes are very focused on Ziyu and palace politics. Very little of our leads.

I'm getting quite frustrated with LMT. And what...previous spoilers that she's going to stab him with a dagger later on too? Is that true cuz if that is, I'm out. I can't stand characters who think they're badass by hurting the ML. The ML lied about their identities. He already paid for it with the hairpin which wasn't even necessary and doesn't deserve all this hate and bashing from LMT. Yet Ziyu gets a free pass for lying, manipulating, leading the Mount Yang people to death, and using his powers to keep her. Um...I don't mind LMT being cold to CXZ IF SHE WAS CONSISTENT. Ziyu and all the other lords are plotting to kill CXZ yet LMT joins their bullying. Gosh, this isn't angst, it's stupidity.

Sorry, for now, LMT no longer deserves CXZ. LMT knows that she has been used by Ziyu the entire three years and how he deliberately allowed their "good brothers" to die for his selfish cause YET she remains respectful towards him, even smiles at him as if nothing ever happened, as if he's a good guy, plays games and chess, and EVEN played against CXZ and said such dumb harsh words to him. There's no logic in her character. How can Ziyu be a good emperor that will be bring peace to the land when he's such a conniving scum? And even when Ziyu ruined her revenge plans while CXZ took the wrap, she still had such pretty words for such a cunning and despicable man. Even if Ziyu is the rightful king BUT if he's a bad person, heck no, no way would I side blindly with him. That's LMT. No brains at the most crucial times.

Again, the writers make LMT belittle CXZ just to flaunt how smart she is compared to the ML. Well, she's not. She's not lovable and very inconsistent. I'm extremely disappointed in her recent actions and yes, it's very off putting. No, CXZ shouldn't have to chase her. He deserves a woman who would choose him like he has chosen her.

Ugh.

I like female power but not like this. You don't have to step on the ML to show that you're this independent, capable, do it myself girl boss. There are way better and classier ways of doing it.

I understand where you're coming from except for the last sentence that "she can stab him as many times". Um...that's harsh for someone criticizing the ML of not having any morals. I don't think ML's level of deceit deserves any physical harm or violence. He doesn't owe her anything and she, likewise.

I think the ancient attire makes them look the same but they don't either. You can give me a random scene and I can automatically tell which drama it's from. CX looks younger, no eye shadow, and wilder than CXZ. Hahah.

In reality, this is an idol drama where the targeted population are not mature enough to like strong and intelligent leads without cliches. They already think this drama is so slow and boring. If we have leads who understand each other all the way through, it'd be a snooze fest for them. I already applaud the writers for a pretty decent story so far. Although it's not faithful to it's novel and far from being perfect, it's not that bad.

Yeah, she never thought she'd fall for Huaiyang Wang whether she is Lu Wen of LMT. LMT was always stalking smack about him. Hahah. She needs some time to sort out her life.
