In what bizarro world do I actually agree with Viki comments more? The FL does not owe the ML anything! You would…
I understand where you're coming from except for the last sentence that "she can stab him as many times". Um...that's harsh for someone criticizing the ML of not having any morals. I don't think ML's level of deceit deserves any physical harm or violence. He doesn't owe her anything and she, likewise.
Not that I want to draw too many parallels betwen ZWY's characters, but who can help it when CXZ and CX look so…
I think the ancient attire makes them look the same but they don't either. You can give me a random scene and I can automatically tell which drama it's from. CX looks younger, no eye shadow, and wilder than CXZ. Hahah.
Ok,i understand now,why chinese directors choose cliche route eventually..its for audience..we like it..i mean,you…
In reality, this is an idol drama where the targeted population are not mature enough to like strong and intelligent leads without cliches. They already think this drama is so slow and boring. If we have leads who understand each other all the way through, it'd be a snooze fest for them. I already applaud the writers for a pretty decent story so far. Although it's not faithful to it's novel and far from being perfect, it's not that bad.
I don't really see this current arc that we're in as FL is taking revenge on the ML for lying to her as much as…
Yeah, she never thought she'd fall for Huaiyang Wang whether she is Lu Wen of LMT. LMT was always stalking smack about him. Hahah. She needs some time to sort out her life.
Can I just say how much I love the ML? Lol. He is really so unbothered by all the s*** going on in courts. His…
ZWY's facial expressions when CXZ met the new emperor WERE priceless. He had no fear in his eyes. He's sooo confident. It's them who fears that he may start a rebellion.
Episode 23 makes me so happy that WCR is LMT. In split seconds, she goes from trying to convince the both of them that she doesn't love him by stabbing him to breaking down and crying in front of him when he slips the hairpin back into her hair, something that only doting husbands would do. Even till the very last moment, when their masks have come off, the final battle between Lord Huaiyang and Lu Wen came to an end, CXZ, an ordinary man just wanted to do one last thing for his wife, LMT, who should've been a normal woman out there if not for her situation. Him wiping off his blood from the hairpin is like using his blood to wash away her wrongdoings in the past and thus, letting her go. If this doesn't show that he loves ALL of her, I don't know what else is left. She cried because she was completely shocked that instead of the almighty and arrogant Lord Huaiyang hating her back and retaliating like she has, he responded as CXZ, someone who will always love her and can never hurt her. Her eyes changed at that moment. Although he didn't need to repay her with his life, but the depth, graveness, and sincerity in this scene is what made CXZ's wifey LMT come back from the abyss. That was her light in finding her way back to him. Granted, it'll take a few episodes as she is on a real revenge mission on Prince Sui and then clarifying stuff with Ziyu, but this scene will forever touch her. Hence, she wears the hairpin all the time now. I understand that she doesn't want to burden or implicate CXZ. She doesn't even know if she'll survive the revenge mission.
