Forgive him for what? Lies? But just the fact that she used him to save her over and over, even in Episode 23 in the cave, she knows he loves her and will follow her, so why play the double standard card? He loves her enough to fight her battles, take out her enemies, yet all of sudden, he doesn't love the "right" part of her? If I were her, I'd be ashamed of myself and ask if HE has forgotten his memories that he's Lord Huaiyang, someone who is supposed to capture me, not marry me, put me on some pedal stool, pardon me, and let me go. He has been bending for her left and right. And even if I can't be with him because I'm a criminal, I'd probably turn a new leaf, leave him, leave Ziyu, leave the past behind and start a new life hoping that no one else decides to take me to court.

At least there's a consistency to CXZ, once he loves someone, their past doesn't matter. He's still protecting her from harm and doesn't ever think about leaving her. I should have done that cuz today's was a filler but I could understand as they're shifting the story to the palace now. But hopefully, there's more scenes of the leads from here onwards. I always get weary around the 20's episodes cuz yes, all dramas drop the ball around this time. We see less and less of the leads and more and more of whoever the production team wishes to promote. That's why I honestly didn't want LMT to regain her memories cuz things are going to get messy with different stories playing all at once. I enjoyed it while it lasted in Lingquan town.😭❤️

It may change later but right now, CXZ is the bigger and more mature person. He discovered her identity and continues to be steadfast yet fulfilling his duties and going to the capital in the midst of a broken heart, pending marriage, and overall mess at home.
