Filming already began around 10/20/2025, +- a few days. Zuer will join after she's done with Biao Mei Wan Fu. The entire filming will take 105 days, even with Zuer's parts, so around the end of January and early February if nothing changes. This is a republican drama, so easier and shorter to film.
I just realized something i saw yesterday but it didnt click until this moment.Su Muyu's legendary line when he…
I love how smart they make both SMY and SCH in here and it's not the talking about how smart I am way, it's their script, actions, and hidden twists that make me go "OHHHHH OOOooooo". I loved how calm and nice yet deadly SMY was in that first convo with the Shadow Sect Leader. Before SMY walked away, he basically said, since you're threatening Blood River's existence by exposing our identities, forcing us to have no place in the world, THEN the Shadow Sect will be the first we come for! That was soooo epic.
She should appear more in the later stages of the show. And her loveline is definitely being milked outside the…
That is what I've been doing to keep me interested in this drama is watching PXR and ZSA clips outside of this drama. This is what I call good acting or setup, just a few scenes and I'm so sold on their chemistry and love line.
I love PXR but what a waste to be in here. She's gorgeous and killing it as Yumo but there's not enough of her. Sure, sure...it's a wuxia and male centric drama but geez, no one saw potential in her and her love line and wanted to milk it? π₯Ίπ
I wasn't able to finish PoB tbh. I stopped on episode 17/18 and couldn't bring myself to finish. But I'm watching…
We're all going to have differing experiences. I, for one, only finished Fated Hearts because of the tyrant king and sister. They were the most interesting story and surprising love line. I wished they focused a bit more on the king and sister though. The drama had too much going on that a lot of it wasn't necessary and weakened the storyline. A chunk of it could've been used to develop the king. But they never meant for the king to blow up during its airing; that's why screen time was limited. The actor was just so good.
Haha, one of the main complaints about this drama was "not having enough politics". The drama is broken…
I think you misunderstood. The first post I made was to you but the convo between Lizzy and I, although under your thread, was not related to you anymore. As you can see, I continued to only reply to Lizzy, not you. I never said you said anything. What I told Lizzy regarding the fan culture toxicity that sometimes ruin the watch was what happened a few months ago and especially on the Chinese side. Don't take it too seriously. We both understand where you were coming from and didn't say anything else.
Gong Jun isn't that great of an actor, actually. Great actors could portray serious characters without coming…
I did finish The Legend of Anle. To be fair, it wasn't just Gong Jun's acting that had issues, it was Reba and LYN's too. Actually, the entire script, production, and aesthetics. Gong Jun and Reba wasted their collaboration on such a poor drama.
Gong Jun's speech and acting isn't the best in here but not the worst either, but you have your own opinions and I'm not trying to convince you otherwise.
I think the upbeat, "cute" actress with the casting of YYT will balance GJ SMY out. We just need more…
There are a lot of complaints about this drama on the other side and I'm starting to agree. The story is getting lost in between the fights or maybe this is the story but it's not as interesting as the writers hoped it would be. I personally think the fights are great but people need more substance than just swords flying around.
The majority of people are into Peng Xiao Ran's pair and I agree. Gong Jun's acting isn't praised or anything. He's just lucky if this drama hits 10K. There are a lot of complaints about the fight scenes too how they're not organic and too much computer graphics. The fans will always praise, the haters will always smear, but so far, the general consensus, it's okay but not great. But at least the heat index is good.

Chinese fan culture is truly scary and toxic. We have a lot of women haters who are women themselves, so it's not a surprise that they dislike good smart characters like Manman yet worship the actors like there's no tomorrow. It's a lost cause over there. I enjoy a drama because of the storyline, could care less if it's popular or the cast as long as the acting is good.
who here was sad for Wei Liang and Xiao Tao? seriously broke my heart.
Everyone was sad. They didn't deserve that. I seriously thought after they focused so much on the heart plate, it was going to save his life or something but nope. π
Why is it that GJ doesn't seem able to reach the heights of performance that he's capable of as last seen in WOH?…
Gong Jun isn't that great of an actor, actually. Great actors could portray serious characters without coming off as boring and bland. His Su Muyu isn't exactly holding up my interest versus Lian Yue whose set up in personality is similar but so much more exciting with Yumo. I may have spoken too soon that this drama is pulling me out of my TPOB craze. Haha. I feel less and less excited about the upcoming episodes now.
They should've added more Yumo and Lian Yue scenes. They're too few in between and they're the most interesting parts besides the well done fights.π₯΄
Gong Jun was good in WOH because Zhe Han played the serious and quiet role while he played around, so it was easier to portray but reverse the roles and he's struggling just like he did in The Legend of Anle. Haha, that drama was a disaster.π

To me, it's not the amount of scenes, it's the acting. YYT acts like she's acting, if you get what I mean. Her ascetics are there, she's just very weak at acting. PXR has even less scenes and is able to attract viewers because she becomes the character. I was reading comments and reviews on the Chinese side and people are praising PXR for looking and acting even better than the anime which is so true.π If YYT can't carry the weight of her character, having more scenes may do worse.
