Yup, watching it a second and third time, no skimming, the better it truly gets. The writer has so many boomerang moments especially the dialogue at the beginning versus the end.

I've watched all of the recent ancient dramas and unfortunately, none have filled the void this drama left in my heart. Ugh. I'm so hopeless. 🥲

Nah, this is one of the only four dramas that have hit 30K this year for Tencent, that's not overrated. But of course, you do you. 😂

Yes, I liked that it didn't take the leads too long to patch up. It didn't take 10+ episodes. They loved each other and couldn't live without one another. Most importantly, the entire convo in Episode 31 between them was soooo good and cleared up all misunderstandings. Manman wasn't wrong for trying to protect her people with the secret passage and Wei Shao wasn't wrong for never giving her a promise or reassurance that he won't hurt the Qiaos because the hate was too strong. BUT through love and understanding, they both let go of everything for each other.

Yup, this drama sorta elevated my hopes for better C-dramas.

Bi Zhi took his baby back to Boya, that was the last scene, so we assume, he'll live a normal single parent life. Bi Zhi literally lived for Ah Fan, but through her death and their child, at the very last scene, he grew up and seemed to be able to live for himself.

It's the best for me.

They really do and they're enemies too. I love that no matter how deep the hate was, they were two genuinely good people who had a bigger picture in mind, the canals to save the people.

I'd probably just download the WeTV app and watch it or other streaming sites but up to you.

Hahah, I don't and I've watched most of Lusi's dramas. The only thing I find the same from both of them is, they're so lovable. They command the screen when they act.😛

This was my first SZE ancient drama, btw. I've seen her around but didn't pay attention or get into her until this drama but then realized that she's been gone for two years and during these two years, a lot has changed in the ET industry. She was still doing kiddish dramas before this. It's like she grew up in this drama.

It's okay, all of us have different tastes and who knows, come back to it in a year or two, you may enjoy it by then.🙂
