I don't think LMT would play this deception game if she had another choice. A lot of things have happened since the last time she was Lu Wen. People and powers have changed. She has to figure things out about Mount Yang before she can return, so she's using CXZ for protection because only he is powerful enough to keep her safe. She knows who is at Mount Yang, how rich, how resourceful they are. They've already killed her once. She doesn't want to repeat that again. She has been safe with him for a whole year, he's the best man to keep it that way until she can fully recover herself as well as her situation. I'm not tired of the deception game because it's all about survival, not necessarily personal as of now. What I love about LMT is, yes, she's saying she'll take revenge but her actions right now are really smart and strategic. If she wanted to hurt CXZ, it's very easy to but she even helped him capture the murderers and ledger, so she has her own plans. She can put aside her personal feelings away for now for other benefits.
This is their first collaboration but they had other lives and interviews for this drama before this recent live and they were okay in interaction but in this live, they seem to be a bit more comfortable.
Sorry, I meant, they seem happier and a lot more comfortable in this live versus other lives and interviews I've seen them in previously. They look pretty relaxed. Maybe this drama is doing good so they can chill.

I think whatever Cao Duo could've provided in the investigation Lu Wen easily can too, now that she's back, so it's not a total loss after all. It's better to get rid of Cao Duo while they have a chance the bandit way than have him arrested and pardoned the legal but corrupted way. Cao Duo can do a lot of damage if released and it'll be hard to capture him again. There are way too many times CXZ had to let the bad guys go.
I feel like CXZ sort of knows that LMT has regained her memories. He senses that LMT has secrets behind her eyes and also that LW has returned. He notices that LMT no longer acts the same. She's always asking him about his state affairs. Even the way he looks at her when they talk is different. His eyes aren't as comfortable and trusting as before. HOWEVER what can he do? He doesn't want to lose her, so he's being honest with her bit by bit, moment by moment, as she questions him. He can't tell the truth yet. He wants to marry her. He gives her all the answers when before, he kept silent about them because they are classified matters. To ease her mind and show that he's sincere, he puts himself at risk giving her intel. To him, he's doing everything to keep her even if that means being taken advantage of.

I sympathize with LMT and her escort agency's massacre HOWEVER that is sort of what happens when you deal with people in the black market. It's one bandit to another and you expect them to have a code of honor? Don't hate on CXZ for taking LMT down as she would have him when given the same chance. Or she may have done worse.

She does or else she wouldn't have risked her life going to war with him. That's why this drama featured that part when she realized that the coward CJ wasn't her type and she was technically asking for a separation and thus they didn't sleep in the same room for a bit. But she began truly falling for him after that which was shown by them sleeping in the same room again. LMT lost her memories but not intelligence. Knowing ZY for three years yet she never slept with him but CJ? She threw herself at him a few times. If she didn't love him, knowing how meticulous she is as a person, even with memory loss, always cautious and honest with herself, she wouldn't continue this facade with him. Even if she was manipulated into loving him, she'd figure it out and never repay him that way. She'd probably killed him by now. She's using him but at the same time, she's buying time.
