From the conversation with He Zhen, it seems as though LMT realized she has been used by Ziyu, Mount Yang, and CXZ, so she'll no longer be a villain or a canary but choose her own new path. However, to do so, she has to track back and clean up the mess and eliminate those who hurt her in the past. Mount Yang no longer holds dear to her anymore. Like she said, Mount Yang will only remind her of CXZ, the one who saved her life.
LMT is a bandit in the end. She has done a lot in the past and can't coexist with CXZ no matter what angle. Plus, she doesn't believe that he truly loves her for her. She's not only the innocent LMT, she's also LW. Can he accept that part of her? The part of her that he has been trying to catch? Can he accept ALL parts of her? She'll later learn that he long has accepted and fallen in love with every part of her. He's living and honoring the words she always said to him that as a married couple, they share joy and overcome sorrows as one. He will always be in a tougher position than her because there's so much more to her to forgive and accept versus him. He lied to her about their identities but that's just on a personal level. Her actions in the past are unacceptable at every level.
She has to leave him for now especially since he's Lord Huaiyang. Like she told her uncle, she had a slimmer of hope that she could be with Cui Jiu but that hope died out once she discovered that CJ is CXZ. It makes it impossible for them to be together.
I think this break between them will make them realize how much they miss, love, and want to be with each other. I just hope that whatever she does, it doesn't land him in trouble or hurt him. He has had it the worst out of everyone EVEN her. She chose this path of bandits. He didn't choose to be Lord Huaiyang. He deserves happiness the most.

I love CXZ! He's so straight forward, a man of his word, charming, and loves LMT so much. The way he rejected Binglan and stood up to his mother deserves so much praise and a standing ovation. He did it in such a classy and gentle way.

They're now back to their true identities which are enemies and can't walk the same path anymore. I love it how LMT subtly lets him know that her memories have somewhat returned. The saddest part is, she stopped him from telling her the truth because she loves CJ. She just wants CJ and LMT to have some sweet memories left. She wants to end their story happily in their own way. CXZ and LW can continue in real life and leave CJ and LMT in that dream world that will no longer exist. What she said to him was quite touching that from now on, whenever she talks about Mount Yang, it'll just remind her of him who saved her. She thanked him! WOW! She's mad at him and doesn't like to be lied to but she understands the whole political situation especially after him telling her about how LW broke the agreement which caused him to attack. Anyway, don't know how things are gonna go but so far, still so good.

It's going to already. In today's episodes, you can see her gather her people on the side and will return where she belongs once she's fully ready. It takes time.

The ones who betrayed her aren't her uncle, escort agency, and the two guys that showed up in today's episodes. She still has some brothers that had to leave Mount Yang because Sun Yun Er took over after they thought she had died. LMT still has good people on her side and is in the process of gathering them as we can see in today's episodes. She's planning to leave once she has regained the situation.
Two intelligent enemies who are each other's equal fell for the most naive play ever. CXZ may be a smart and capable lord but he pulled the most naive card ever, play house with your enemy, not as a brother or relative BUT a husband. Hahah. And it worked. He caught LW's heart. LW never thought she'd fall for such a ridiculous play even with memory loss cuz her intelligence was still intact. He is quite charming and hilariously meme worthy. Fate is so funny and unpredictable.
