When does stop being obsessed with this Peacock chick?
A Jin gradually falls in love with A Yin but doesn't fully realize it until Episodes 9-10. That is when he makes a complete break from Hua Shu, the peacock girl. But even then, A Jin doesn't have much screen time with her at all.
I'm not surprised if there is a strong bromance brewing between Ming Qi and now Nather King Xiy Yan...after spending…
I need to start saving posts because I forget and there are so many good ones with really good content to help out viewers with the drama. As explained in earlier posts, The Last Immortal or its original Chinese name Hidden God can refer to a few things but since the drama is a female centric story about A Yin, it's probably A Yin being Dong Hua's, the master of Daze mountain, last immortal disciple.
My personal faves: - Love and Redemption, - Ashes of Love, - Who Rules the world, - Love like the Galaxy, - Story…
Wow! You're super up to date with dramas then. Because of the bad endings lately, I tend to not catch them live unless I really like the drama, so I'll probably check out the new Chinese Paladins 4 and 6 when they're done airing.
then she would become normal human, not immortal anymore
Ahhh, makes much more sense the way you explain it. Yeah, it's the English subs that say "seal". So sealing is the same as removing then. So even as a mortal, A Yin can stay in the immortal realm?
then she would become normal human, not immortal anymore
Oh? Okay. So if her immortal bones were sealed, she'll be a mortal?
I'm not sure how it all works exactly either, but I just thought A Yin will still be an immortal. She'll still have a long lifetime that extends beyond mortals and be able to live in the immortal realm because Yuan Qi rebuilt her immortal body with the Spirit Nourishing Elixir that prolonged her life but probably with no powers or with the same weak powers that can never increase through cultivation and ascend up like others. But again, you read the novels so you know more and best.π
I like the parallels in here. In Episode 39, Hong Que, Hua Shu's maid, sort of explains the effects. Hua Mo removed Hong Que's immortals bones and descended her into the mortal realm as a mortal. Thus, as long as A Yin still has her immortals bones, they've been sealed, yes, but not completely removed, she'll still be an immortal and Yuan Qi or someone more powerful can undo it later? Or is sealing the same as removing? And the subs could be off too. This is all xianxia logic, so I'm trying to make sense of it all. π
However, Yuan Qi didn't know that Hua Shu already used the Wanyi Sacred Fire on A Yin. The Wanyi Sacred Fire, only used for demigods, was so strong that it shattered both A Yin's immortal bones and internal core once the Spirit Nourishing Elixir was destroyed, so A Yin was no longer protected. The Spirit Sword barely even began sealing her immortal bones and she already died because she was hanging on the last life thread from Hua Shu's punishment. If Hua Shu didn't do that, even if A Yin's immortals bones were sealed or shattered, the Spirit Nourishing Elixir would continuously provide her internal core with immortal powers to support her immortal bones. It was Hua Shu who actually killed A Yin, injured her enough to the brink of death. Yuan Qi was just the last one who touched her and accidentally finalized it. But this is all based on what I see in the drama and totally could be so wrong. π
Does anyone know what happens to the person that has his/her "immortal bones sealed"? Whats the effect?
I'm not too familiar with the xianxia world in here, since I haven't read the novels or watched previous parts that may have explained this but just from this drama, sealing A Yin's immortals bones would inhibit her powers/cultivation, so even if she had devil energy in her, she can't do much damage like Hong Yi who had ascended to demigod at the time and made it even easier to destroy Daze mountain. I'm thinking it's like those wuxias where their veins are cut, so they can't fight and abuse their martial arts to do bad anymore. This was a last minute decision to save A Yin's life from the thunder strikes, so if her immortal bones had been sealed, she'd have no powers, probably even weaker than now, never improve or ascend up in terms of power, so pretty much a mortal. π Yuan Qi had to play this card all the way to persuade the immortals to let A Yin go, so he destroyed Ningyun mountain because technically, she's a water divine beast, so the lake there can heal her injuries and maybe remove her sealing one day which can be a threat to them.
Dude, I just realized, these immortals believe in the death penalty, like immediately with no trial. π
Hi can anyone suggest some good ancient dramas to watch please? I am running out of choices.
The ones I've enjoyed besides this one that come to mind at the moment are: The Starry Love, My Journey To You, Wonderland of Love, Lost You Forever Part 1, Scent of Time, Destined, and The Deliberations of Love.
I'm enjoying and appreciating this drama more and more with each rewatch. When I first watched it, I was so eager and anxious about how it would turn out, so I was sort of split in the anticipation. However, rewatching it again definitely allows me to watch every minute without mentally being rushed, so the story is even more beautiful. I still stand by my original words that the love story, although very xianxia-ish, is a unique and memorable one. The character development, growth, precious youth, to being torn apart from imposed responsibilities, life and death decisions, redemption, and a happy ending is still such a worthwhile adventure for those of us who have seen it and those who haven't. You may not like it now but come back in a few years and try again. I just finished my rewatch, so gathering my thoughts again on how I feel about this drama. π
It wasn't clear in the drama and I'm not sure if the book mentions it but can we assume that A Yu and Qing Yi, maybe later on if the story continues, get together? If so, it's another parallel. A Yin was discussing her plans with Qing Yi regarding finding a suitable partner to repopulate the water divine beast clan with. Haha.π
