"I don't understand why 'RL' fans come here and say, 'I like 'RL' more than 'Desire'.' I understand you like…
Iâve never really understood the whole fandom drama thing and the hate that comes with it. Arenât we all BL fans? Why canât people just enjoy multiple BL series at the same time? Whether it's BL or even straight Cdramas or Kdramas, there always seems to be some kind of fan rivalry going on. Meanwhile, Iâm just here enjoying whatever I think is good, regardless of where itâs from. For example, I am currently watching both RL& Desire and find them both entertaining for their own reasons. Why does it feel like the drama world is starting to feel like the Kpop fandoms scene? At the end of the day, arenât we all just looking for shows we genuinely enjoy to spend our precious time on?
Does anyone know why they removed this drama from iQIYI? I've been watching it on there and today I went to check…
Pressure from mainland China had them sadly pull the series off from chinese owned platforms like iQiyi,Youku and even their Youtube channel! However, thankfully you can still find it internationally on Viki and Gagaoolala!
From your comment, it's the part you said "having the best time of his life đ " at another person's…
Yeah, that's the twisted part and what makes HY a red flag for me, cause you can't say you love someone and then hurt them like that...However, I understand that their relationship has many layers and is complicated, especially with the aspect of their secondary genders that adds to the difficulty of being honest. Still, eps 5 & 6 were a bit hard to watch. One moment I would be laughing in disbelief at Hua Yong's antics and the next I'd feel sad seeing Sheng go through it all...
By the way, I don't know about others but for me, the main couple still holds my interest more than the second one. The plot of the second couple is just too typical for omegaverse, the whole "poor omega with debt who acts like beta around his alpha crush cause he doesn't like omegas and both suffer from past trauma" so I'm not as invested. However, I still think Gao Tu is quite a cutie and kinda rooting for his happiness! ><
Currently watching Ep4 and losing it haha This drama couldn't get any more hilarious and chaotic! The way the ML didn't know of whom he should feel jealous of anymore? And Ji Eun's oblivious attitude about her male form's "impact" stresses him and the rest even more lol Btw Yuri my girl I feel you ><
Okay, I've just finished the episode and there's no way she actually said that in the hospital scene...I mean I get her but omg now I can tell next ep will be even more chaotic!
Loved episode 3 and canât wait for the next one tomorrow! The way the ML rushed her to the hospital first thing in the morning after she switched back was so hilarious to watch, especially when he started asking the doctor if everything was good with her CT scan and all aside from the fever! He really wanted to make sure everything was back to normal. đ
As for the new female rival, I kinda wish she was attracted to Ji Eunâs male form instead of her boyfriend. I think that wouldâve made the whole situation way more chaotic and interesting to watch! But I guess for now, weâll have to wait and see what she brings to the table for the plot to move forward.
And that drunk scene? It was so funny, but also kinda sad at the same time. You could see Ji Eunâs hurt by his words and the ML definitely showed some of his own frustration too. But what had me rolling on the floor was the MLâs younger sister. She totally misunderstood the situation between her brother and Ji Eun/Jihoon about their relationship lol (still I love how supportive she seemed though).
yes gao tu visited hua Yong and Shen wen lang was there too , there are no two mr.shens ,one is mr.sheng the head…
There is one simple error I think you made here, Shen is the ceo of his own company called HS and he is just working partners and friends with Hua Yong who is the ceo of X Holdings. It's just that Hua Yong never makes an appearance in public so most public meetings are hundled by his secretery Chang. In ep5 it was even mentioned of how they made an exchange deal HY helping Shen with something work related deals between their companies and Shen providing him with his cover and helping him to get SY.
Lmaoo that really is the most fitting metaphor anyone could come up with for this one đ And honestly I kind…
Same but not just bls but cdrama in general haha I am used to getting fed multiple eps a week so when there are times they release only 1-2 eps a week I get upset even though with Kdrama I have no issues as well haha
Watching this on a weekly basis feels like whatever Gau Tu is doing with his inhibitors đđtreating the symptom…
Lmaoo that really is the most fitting metaphor anyone could come up with for this one đ And honestly I kind of hate that I started it so early too,I shouldâve let it marinate some more...
Sheng hates illegitimate children, and Hua Yong is an illegitimate child who took over the family business. I…
Yes, I get that. What bothers me is how far he took it and how it might end up hurting both of them later when the truth comes out, especially SY. Up until ep4 I didnât mind his manipulation and lies all that much. I even found them a bit amusing, since it was clear HY genuinely had feelings for him and was just using this âhoney trapâ plan to get SY to be his. But by ep5, things went way too far for my tastes and I am kinda worried how things will go from here on...
Hua Yong has been in love with Shen Shaoyou for 15 years
Yes I get that hence why I said "lying and manipulating him is one thing". I juat think he ended up taking it too far in ep5 and that thinks might start snowballing from now on...And again I don't get why he doesn't help him under cover using his secretary on business.
Hua Yong has been in love with Shen Shaoyou for 15 years
Yes I know...I saw that he knows him since childhood and orchestrated all this to get him...I just don't understand why he is treating him like that if he loves him...Lying and manipulating him to achieve it is one thing but what happened on ep5 was truly hard to watch...And I think that SY will keep getting hurt since HY doesn't seem to plan to tell him anytime soon...
Just caught up with Episode 5 and oh boy that was intense! I feel so bad for poor Shao You. He was completely losing it, thinking his Omega bf had been kidnapped and g*ng r***d by a bunch of Alphas, when in reality, Hua Yong is just an Enigma going through his rut, locked up alone in a room and those Alphas going in and out turns out, theyâre just his employees...The way things are spiraling, Iâm really curious to see how Hua Yong plans to break the truth to Shao You. The longer he drags this out, the worse it seems to get, and itâs only going to be all the more painful when it all comes crashing down. Btw from what I gather, Hua Yong clearly has feelings for Shao You and the reason heâs been manipulating him seems to be because he wants him so badly, right? But then if he truly cares, why isnât he helping Shao You with his company problems or the gland cancer project tied to his fatherâs survival? He could easily assist using his real identity as the CEO of X Holdings through his secretary, keeping his cover intact. So, does he want to see Shao You struggle, or is there something else going on here? As for the issues with the second couple, it all really boils down to misunderstandings. Shen clearly has a deep-rooted hatred for Omegas, mainly because of the way that Omega girl spoke badly about Gao Tu, and also because GT constantly smells like one, which makes Shen uncomfortable thinking of him being involved with an Omega. If only Gao Tu could find the courage to be open and honest about everything... But I get that heâs dealing with his own trauma too, which makes it all the more complicated.
Just to clarify, this drama wasnât created for the BL fans or focuses on two guys falling in love. Itâs based…
Yes but the fact that he doesnât break up with her and stays by her side despite the shift in physical attraction, is the clearest âproofâ of his love. It shows that his feelings go beyond just the physical. If the change had been permanent, sure, that would be a different conversation. But in the context of this story, heâs showing emotional commitment, even through confusion and discomfort. At the end of the day, this is a gender-bender romance K-drama, not a documentary. Itâs meant to explore fantasy, âwhat ifsâ and like most romance series an idealized love hardly found in real life, whether straight or BL. If youâre watching every show through a strictly logical or hyper-realistic lens, then yeah, this one was probably never going to land for you.
