I personally checked out the trailer on yt and I've had my eye on Tan Song Yun since Sword and Brocade which I enjoyed. I haven't seen many works with Liu Xue Yi in a lead role, aside from In Blossom I think but I remember liking him in that show! Honestly, I'm not much of a fan of any particular actor or actress I just go with the flow and see which Cdramas catch my attention. Thanks for answering my question!^^

The drama can have 47 episodes of the FL rebuilding her life, overcoming her hardships, clearing her family's name etc. while still having an ML whose actions I don't necessarily like? There are plenty of Cdramas where the FL's journey is the main focus and the ML isn't necessarily a green flag so I had to make sure...

The scriptwriter barely has three works from what I saw but their latest one Are You the One was actually a good one! I am kinda worried about the director honestly...Cause all the cdrama I saw from him kinda took a deep midway through although the cinematography was pretty.

That was actually her first time shooting in such a crowded residential area when ML saw her back and the police and news even mentioned how unusual the situation was for kingfisher!
Also the hacker guy literally erases all the footage and if you remember her team’s conversation in that episode, they said they do a cleanup and pre-check of the shooting locations before Bona arrives with her gun.
In this latest case though, Bona had to change her shooting spot because of the cop chasing the criminal completely changed the plan. She was forced to go to a new, unprepared location and the hacker had to help by giving her information about all the blind spots. And because this was a residential area with people around, it was genuinely much riskier than her usual locations.
So far, her shooting spots have mostly been high terraces , empty spaces, etc. places that are much easier to control and where there’s less chance of innocent people being caught in the crossfire or witnessing it. This was a very different situation.

No, he doesn't. The reason he seems off and looks at his wife/daughter whenever Kingfisher is mentioned is cause of something else! I was also suspicious at the start lol

?? I just wanted to say that certain elements of this Kdrama remind me of other series I've watched. In FOE we have a married couple with a child where one partner has a secret identity, and the plot revolves around crime cases. In Vigilante both main characters lead "normal" lives in public while secretly going after dangerous criminals that the law has failed to hold accountable. They take matters into their own hands. And TJHF features strong female leads who pursue unpunished criminals although TJFH has supernatural elements as well. I really don’t see what’s so funny or weird about this?
Started watching this yesterday, and I’m already on episode 4! I'm absolutely loving it so far! It feels like a mix of Flower of Evil, Vigilante and The Judge from Hell. I remember enjoying all of those shows! Honestly, I can't help but wish for a season 2 already haha. I wish we had more shows like this!
Honestly, for an idol drama this series certainly exceeded the expectations of most! From the acting and the senior cast to the plot and overall production, it felt very well put together. However, I believe it fell a bit short in the romance department. And by that, I don’t mean the chemistry between the leads or how their love story was portrayed throughout the show. If anything, their relationship felt too realistic and heavy at times and I felt there weren’t enough sweet moments between the two. The honeymoon phase was cut short and the last arc was filled with hardships and angst leaving only half an episode to redeem it. That said, I did appreciate that there weren’t any major plot holes, everything was tied up nicely in the end.
Another thing that made this cdrama stand out imo is that the writing wasn’t solely focused on the leads, many of the supporting characters were also given depth and complexity. Characters like Madam Yu, Fan Ke and others in the supporting cast truly shone and made a noticeable impact in their respective roles!
Lastly I love how the drama concluded! It's wise to know when to advance and when to retreat indeed! ML saw his chance and took it, and he was very wise in doing so!

That sounds a bit disappointing. I would have preferred her to choose another guy instead of someone who gives up on her during her toughest moments and only returns when she is on her feet again...
