This has been on my watch list for years and after craving something unique and interesting, I've finally decided to give it a try. The opening scene reminded me a bit of the Hercules myth from Greek mythology since he also survived an attack by two snakes as an infant! Btw love the aesthetics and vibes I'm getting from the first episode already!
It should be normalized having more than 8 episodes for high quality dramas!
It makes sense, though, they focus the budget on the right places, which is why they have to reduce the number of episodes to make it all fit. Personally, I would prefer shorter dramas if it meant we could improve the quality. I’d rather have short, high-quality shows than longer ones that only look good on the surface but are poorly executed. Plus most shows even the good ones get boring/mid when they are too long thanks to the fillers...But I get what you want to convey, it really makes u crave for more!
OMG!! Ep3 can't come soon enough!! This has to be the best Thai GL series I've seen in a long while. Most of the actresses performances are decent or even good and the cinematography and script are looking good so far as well. I really love the show's overall tone and vibe! From ep1 it just sucks you in! The only significant drawback I've noticed so far is the fight choreography some of the punches and kicks looked kinda awkward but that's okay.

I've yet to catch up with the latest ep but from past seasons there were quite a few guys who acted the same when their exes would stop being interested in them and started getting serious with other partisipants or if they weren't popular with other girls they would turn back to their exes (and some of this season's guys might also turn out like that, after all we still got half the season to go through). So it kind of happens both ways lol And I think the main reason that this happens is because the environment is new, the time is limited and also most of the time the partisipants are still hang up on their exes when joining with not enough coooling period between them.
I'm kinda a bit behind and just started watching ep5 now but honestly, I think this season is by far my favorite so far! I really enjoy the dynamics and friendships between the girls and guys and I'm also finding the messy interactions between the exes quite relatable lol it's a situation where you can't really blame either side haha. Take BH for example. He acted all chill and big hearted but it's obvious he still cares for his ex. From what we've seen, it looks like he was the one who fell harder in their relationship. But ofc that doesn't mean he should act all tough and childish...But I also get him in a way he seems to be the one who took their breakup the hardest...
Then there's the drama between MK and YS. They had a long relationship, so it's understandable that MK has such strong reactions to YS's behavior around the others. However, they already broke up and everyone handles that differently, so I don't see the issue with YS being more upbeat and active imo plus he still shows enough respect around his ex. But I understand MK's perspective too. It's really complicated.
Honestly, in a show like this messiness is inevitable. I just hope viewers can better understand both sides and avoid starting any unnecessary witch hunt. It's really all about perspective most of the time anyway...
Honestly, I’ve been enjoying this show so far but now that I’ve reached ep14 I can’t help but feel a bit let down...Why did she still decide to lie to him about her identity after everything that's happened?
Btw I really don’t understand the hate this C-drama is getting! It does start off a bit slow and the episodes feel like short drama plots with barely any actual plot development. However, I still found it enjoyable to watch, maybe because I liked the chemistry between the leads and the comedic moments! I think it has become more interesting and even more fun now to watch compared to the early ones. While there isn’t anything groundbreaking or particularly unpredictable, the overall recipe is similar to most Wuxia dramas out there.
FYX is the most believable female general I've seen this year.
REAL! I honestly didn't have high expectations for this cdrama and it wasn't as well promoted or anticipated by most people... But it turned out to be one of the best cdramas of the year, featuring the most believable female general! After experiencing quite few disappointments this year Iqiyi finally released something really good!
Currently on episode 17 and I’m so furious! How stupid, selfish, and naive can the princess be? I really blame those who sheltered and spoiled her throughout her entire life. She has become a complete fool! Just imagine helping a man who doesn’t even love you to go against your own country and family's interests...
Honestly, this drama is giving me exactly what I hoped to get from LOTFG and I absolutely love it! I really hope they can maintain this quality until the very end though but the start is definitely strong! So far, I'm enjoying the vibes and the character development of the main leads! Can't wait to catch up with the latest eps~
